How to complete all Mythical Island secret missions

Pokémon TCG Pocket has just released its first expansion, Mythical Island, and some new secret missions along with it. As players may know, there are more missions in Pokémon TCG Pocket than they initially appear in the missions tab. When players collect themed groups of certain Pokémon, they sometimes complete a surprise secret mission that gives them rewards like hourglass packs or store tickets. Genetic Apex – Pokémon TCG Pocket'The first set – had seven secret missions to complete. Mythical Island I just added four morean understandably smaller number for a much smaller set.

Like this Genetic Apexsecret missions, the new Mythical Island all involve collecting certain types of Pokémon. This typically involves having to pull some of the rarer cards from the set, which means it can take a while to achieve them. This is especially true for people who don't pay to play Pokémon TCG Pocket. Since Pack Points don't transfer between sets, you'll have to be very lucky to finish these missions within the first few days of release.

All Mythical Island secret missions in Pokémon TCG Pocket

Most Mythical IslandSecret missions involve the set's main attraction Pokémon, Mew, somehow. Three out of four of the new quests require you to obtain at least one copy of Mew ex, which is also one of the hardest to obtain. The easiest to collect version of Mew ex is a four diamond card, with the others being two star cards or a crown card. You will also need to find other rare cards to finish these secret missions.

Mythical Island Museum 1

To complete Mythical Island Museum 1 you will have to collect six different versions of complete Pokémon art of the new set. These are all one-star cards which, according to Pokémon TCG PocketOffer rates have a 0.428% chance of coming out of a Regular Package. These cards can also be obtained for 400 Pack Points each, the equivalent of opening 80 Mythical Island packs. If this prospect seems intimidating, it's important to note that this isn't even the hardest. Mythical Island secret mission to finish.

Upon completing this mission, you will receive 12 Pack Hourglasses, 36 Wonder Hourglasses and 10 Shop Tickets. Getting a single pack and maybe a good Wonder Pick in a mission like this is a little underwhelming. That said, don't get your hopes up about any of the secret missions in this set.

Mythical Island Museum 2

Mythical Island Museum 2 has far fewer Pokémon to collect than the first Mythical Museum mission. You just need to grab the immersive versions of two Pokémon: Mew ex and Aerodactyl ex. That said, the chances of drawing these two-star cards are much lower than drawing the one-star cards from the previous mission. Offer rates for these cards are just 0.050% on Regular Bundles, and purchasing them with Bundle Points is much more difficult as they cost 1250 Points each. This quest has the same reward as the previous quest.

Mew Ex Museum

As the name suggests, the Mew ex Museum quest tasks you with collecting all versions of Mew ex from Mythical Island set. There is four versions of Mew ex in this set, starting at four diamonds with a 0.333% drop rate and ending at the crown with a 0.040% drop rate in Regular Packs.

The other two Mew ex cards are two-star cards (a 0.050% drop rate). While drawing all versions seems unlikely, purchasing them with Pack Points seems nearly impossible to obtain. The total price for all four would be 5,500 points or 1,100 packs. The reward here is again just 12 Pack Hourglasses, 36 Wonder Hourglasses and 10 Shop Tickets.

Adventure tale on the mythical island

Mythical Island Tale of Adventure is the only quest that involves some lower rarity cards to complete. You will need to get the two-diamond version of Budding Explorer and Mythical Slab. Each of them has an offer rate of 3.913%, which is much higher than any other card on this list. However, you also need the immersive version of Mew ex and Celebi ex, both of which have a 0.050% bid rate. Still, having this quest half done at the beginning will make it seem easier than the others.

The reward here is a Celebi badge that you can display on your profile, which is essentially just good for digital bragging rights. While this is less exciting than getting an exclusive card like Mew from Genetic Apexalso makes sense. Keeping mechanically unique cards hidden behind secret missions is a good way to frustrate players. Still, a unique artistic treatment for one of the cards in the set seems like a good compromise.

It seems that Pokémon TCG Pocket will balance the rewards of your secret missions based on the size of each set. While the rewards for these secret missions are a little less exciting than some of the Genetic ApexThey are also easier to finish as they are a smaller set and only have one type of packaging. It's possible that future secret missions will offer more exciting rewards.
