Cemeteries are a new lot type added The Sims 4: Life and Death. They are important for when a Sim dies, whether unexpectedly or planned through their own story. However, cemeteries are also public land that the living can travel to at any time. They can even be assigned as club hangouts and celebrity hangouts from previous expansions. This means that a cemetery must be well maintained to make it a place worth visiting. Otherwise, the dead may soon be forgotten.
The cemetery grounds are most often used to host funeral events in The Sims 4. You’ll need the essentials to celebrate a Sim’s life and bury them properly. A single prefabricated cemetery, Eternal Hollowis included in The Sims 4: Life and Death. But this may not meet all your needs. The Sims 4: Cats and Dogs and The Sims 4: Snow Escape they also had cemetery-type areas, but they did not have the full functionality of a cemetery.
How to Make a Cemetery Plot
Going beyond mandatory objects
Cemeteries can be made on any vacant land, even in worlds outside of Ravenwood. However, it may be more difficult to visit vacation worlds like Batuu or Granite Falls. Preferably you should use the largest batch size of 64 x 64but lots this large are extremely rare and may require the demolition of a prefabricated structure. However, avoid destroying buildings with important game features, such as Copperdale High from TS4: high school years.
As with all other batches, editing is done in Build mode in TS4. This can be done in Manage Worlds or in Live Mode. Set “cemetery” in the drop-down menu in the top left corner. As this is a public lot, no Simoleons are required for any cost.
However, having only the basic objects can make this tedious for those attending funerals. Consider including items to restore a Sim’s basic needs TS4. This may include items such as a game of chess for fun, a sink or shower for hygiene and bed or coffee machine for energy. If Sims get hungry, it’s a good idea to have vending machines or a refrigerator for easy-to-prepare items. Sims 4 revenues. The cemetery I built in Del Sol Valley even included celebrity-themed items like the video station and exotic water garden.
Maintaining a crowded cemetery
Dealing with Too Many Dead Sims
As more Sims die, you may soon start to run out of adequate space. The Sims 4: Life and Death. The biggest annoyances are the tombs, which take up a full 4×4 grid each. You could make more cemetery plots to accommodate more graves, but that too is finite.
Instead of, choose to make cemeteries multi-level with an ascending structure and a basement. Any lot may have three levels above ground and four below ground to a total of eight floors. To go even further than the game normally allows, using cheat codes is a good way to stack a lot of objects.
Switching to ballot boxes
One of the best ways to save space is convert tombstones into urns. This should happen automatically if you drag an occupied tombstone in. However, an empty tombstone will need to be deleted and replaced in Build Mode. The advantage of ballot boxes is that they can be placed on surfaces such as desks, shelves and display cases. Build items from The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure It can be one of the best ways to display any collection, even deceased Sim remains.
Another method to avoid overcrowding is to not keep all dead Sims in a graveyard. Some families may want to be close to their loved ones by allowing urns and headstones on their home lot. You can also take a more morbid approach in The Sims 4: Simply abandon the Sim right where they died. This can raise an alert in dangerous locations, such as swimming pools where many have drowned or gardens infested with carnivorous cows, and ultimately avoid the need to build an overcrowded cemetery in The Sims 4.
