Ghosts'Woodstone Mansion is an important aspect of the supernatural series that has been running for a long time. The CBS comedy is based on a similar one in the UK; in the American version, Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) have been running a bed and breakfast on the haunted property for the past four years. Additionally, almost all of the ghosts on the CBS series are confined to the property's boundaries. , meaning they need to possess a human body if they want to visit the outside world.
One of the interesting aspects Ghosts The premise in both versions of the show is that some of the ghosts have been around for over 1,000 years.while others are relatively new to the spiritual world. Thus, some spirits inhabited the earth before Ghosts' Woodstone Mansion was built while others lived on the property as soon as it came into existence. The CBS series has explored many of the ghosts' backstories, but has yet to tell the story of how the mansion was built.
The Ghosts' Woodstone Mansion was built in 1849
Before it was built, some ghosts haunted empty lands
Although Thor (Devan Chandler Long) and Sass (Román Zaragoza) have been around for centuries, Woodstone Manor has been around since the mid-1800s. Thor can manipulate the electricity in the mansion due to being killed by lightning, but he did not discover this until the mansion was connected to electricity in 1883, and there was no house standing when he died around the year 1070 AD. Likewise, Sass died sometime in the 16th century. As European settlers had not yet visited the land or interfered with the Lenape Tribe's possession of it, the mansion would not exist for several more centuries.
Furthermore, Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky) is the first known ghost to inhabit the mansion, having lived in it since childhood. Since she was born in 1850, it is likely that her parents built it so that they would have a place to live with their new son, and therefore the mansion was likely completed in 1849, although it is possible that it was built earlier in the decade. However, it is not likely that the house was built much earlier than this, as several ghosts who died of cholera lived in a pest house on the same land in the early 19th century.
Who Built Woodstone Mansion in Ghosts
Hetty claims it was her, but that's impossible
Hetty states in Ghosts season 1, episode 4 that she built the house. However, even though Hetty's still unrevealed powers in Ghosts including time travel, it still wouldn't explain how she built a mansion given to her by her father in the 1870s, after her marriage to Elijah (Matt Walsh), and where she lived as a child in the 1850s. to be built some time before his birth. However, it is obvious that it was built by her family as it bears her family's name and her father gifted it to her.
This idea would be consistent with the theory that his father built the mansion when his wife was pregnant with Hetty.
The most likely explanation is that Hetty meant that her family built the Woodstone mansion. This idea would be consistent with the theory that his father built it when his wife was pregnant with Hetty. Although there has been no news about an episode of Ghosts detailing the creation of the mansion, Hetty or another ghost may delve into the full story later if it is relevant to the plot of a particular episode.
