How Miyabi's Dual Element Will Forever Change Zenless Zero Zone

As Zenless Zero Zone gears up for update 1.4, Miyabi and her double element will change gacha gaming forever. Without Zen has finally begun introducing players to the long-awaited Section 6 group. One member, Soukaku, has been playable since launch, while 1.3 added the Electric Anomaly unit, Yanagi. Unfortunately, the second half of 1.3 will end the Sons Of Calydon faction with the Stun Lighter unit.

Miyabi herself will be an Anomaly unit, which is good since they have taken control of the meta. With the subsequent releases of Jane Doe, Burnice, and Yanagi, Anomaly and Disorder’s damage rose to the top. Hunting units like Ellen, Zhu Yuan and the next Zenless Zero Zone 1.4 Harumasa character banners are still viable, but not as effective.

How Miyabi’s Dual Element Works

Miyabi is officially listed as using the Ice Element, but uses a unique type called Frost, which combines Ice with Fire.. This is best demonstrated by his attribute symbol, which takes the basic form of the Ice Element but adds aspects of the Fire symbol. His kit has been leaked online and while the numbers may change slightly, his core playing style is unlikely to change.

Miyabi will mainly play with her Cold Flame passive, which has many different effects. For starters, any enemy she attacks will be inflicted with Iceflame, and targets with Iceflame will accumulate Miyabi’s Anomaly faster while increasing their Critical Rate. Enemies with Iceflame will also have a separate anomaly meter for Miyabi, which will cause them to enter the Frostburn state when filled. In this state, they will suffer a large initial burst of damage from Miyabi and increased anomaly stacking for any Miyabi allies..

Outside of his passive, Miyabi’s kit is relatively simple, with the only other part of major importance being his Frozen Moon Stance. This is her charged basic attack that deals more damage depending on how many stacks of Frostfall, maximum six, she has. Overall, it looks like Miyabi is becoming similar to Jane Doe and her best build being a fielded hybrid main DPS unit whose kit relies heavily on Anomaly damage. Early predictions suggest that Yanagi will synergize well for dual DPS teams, while Burnice will be the best choice for Miyabi-focused fielding teams.

How Dual Elements Will Change Zenless Zero Zone

Dual element characters will likely follow one of two paths. They will be rarely used and reserved for some of the strongest characters in the universe, as Miyabi has been described, or distributed more regularly.. Given the extreme strength that Miyabi appears to have, the former would be the most likely option. This would be similar to how every nation in the world Genshin Impact has the playable Archon who is incredibly strong.

However, if the latter method were used, it could be of great benefit to the game. Proper balance would be a necessity so that dual elements don’t overwhelm single element characters, but the potential is huge. Future units could combine the different elements into new alchemical and environmental creations that one would never imagine fitting at first glance.. Fire and Ice might be obvious, but the idea of Electric and Aether could also pair well, along with the chance for more elements to come in. Without Zen in the future.

Could other characters learn a second element?

Since most of the characters besides Miyabi are unknown or constantly changing, it’s difficult to predict who the next dual-element unit could be. The other option is if Without Zen will follow the trend of releasing characters in a new form. This is something that Genshin avoided, but both Honkai games used. If Without Zen goes this route, there are more options open for dual element upgrades.

The most likely and obvious options would be the original three Cunning Hares: Nicole, Billy and Anby. These three have thus far played a large part in the overall story and will likely continue to appear frequently. In terms of gameplay, Billy and Anby are also some of the least used units now that stronger options have emerged. Nicole’s best build in Zenless Zero Zone still has it as Ether’s main supporter, but it will likely be dethroned in the near future.

Overall, whether rare or common, two-element units are a great sign for Without Zen. This shows that the team is already preparing ways for the game to evolve and be more creative than its sister games. How they are used and their strength will be a big question, but HoYoverse has sailed pretty cleanly before. Without considering, Zenless Zero ZoneThe company’s first two-man agent, Miyabi, will forever change the future of fast-paced action gaming.
