How Juliette will return to the silo

Warning: spoilers ahead for Silo season 2, episodes 1 and 2!With Rebecca Ferguson’s Juliette Nichols trapped in a nearly empty structure, it may seem like it will be very difficult for her to return home in Silo Season 2, but there’s actually a very simple way she could do this. Of course, it all depends on whether Juliette really wants to go back to Silo 18. That being said, it would be a little unusual if she never came back to spread the word about Silothe twisting of heat tape and the even greater dangers posed by a potential rebellion.

Ferguson’s return to lead the Silo the cast is a little different this time. At the end of Silo In the first season, Juliette appeared in every episode of the Apple TV+ show. However, Silo The Season 2 story produced at least one episode in which Ferguson essentially doesn’t appear. As such, the current run of episodes isn’t afraid to focus on the fallout from the Season 1 finale, including some residents of Silo 18 discovering how Juliette survived outside when no one else did. To avoid becoming the figurehead of an ill-fated revolution, Juliette will need to run home.

Juliette can use the mines to return to her home silo

Silo 18 may not be out of reach

The mines in Silo were often mentioned only when mentioning the punishment of residents for breaking community rules. For example, possession of an unrecorded Relic of the Ancient Times could be reason enough for someone to be sent to the mines for up to a decade of forced labor. While they’ve been largely seen as a negative scenario thus far, they could easily become Juliette’s biggest advantage when she inevitably tries to return to Silo 18.

There were several moments when Silo which reveal the lowest points of the structures hold many mysteries, including a door that was completely submerged. However, the fact that Juliette doesn’t know how to swim, nor does anyone else Silo characters, prevented her from fully exploring. Interestingly, Juliette managed to survive falling into the water in Silo 2nd seasonepisode 1, “The Engineer”. Therefore, it is possible that she will feel more confident exploring the current environment and will be able to figure out a way to travel to other Silos through the mines.

Juliette would need another suit and heat tape to go back outside

Juliette had to destroy her costume to survive

As was the case with all the other characters who were sent outside, Juliette was given an environmental suit to help her try to survive the harsh outdoor conditions. The suits’ gloves and boots are routinely sealed with duct tape, but the adhesive has long been intentionally bad to ensure that everyone who goes out to clean up dies soon after. This way, residents watching would be discouraged from leaving. Juliette discovered the ribbon trick and made sure to have a superior version applied to her costume. Unfortunately, she lost her suit and ribbon in “The Engineer”.

Sealed very well in your suit, Juliette was forced to destroy it due to lack of air when she was safely inside the devastated new Silo.. If she wants to leave the way she came, she will need to replace them both. This may seem like an easy solution, given that she’s in a nearly identical structure to the one she left behind, but there’s also no guarantee that she’ll be able to find the exact same resources. So mines are still your most viable option – although finding another suit and a roll of duct tape may still be an option.

Why Juliette needs to go back to Silo 18

Bernard’s manipulative speech only gave Silo 18 a temporary measure of peace

Ferguson’s character was the first in Silo 18’s recorded history to leave the building and climb the hillcompletely leaving the camera’s field of view. Previously, this was considered impossible, with superiors propagating the lie that even a specialized suit was not enough to withstand the conditions up there. The upper heat tape changed all that, and although Juliette quickly disappeared from sight, there is an emerging belief that she managed to survive much longer and is not yet dead.

If Juliette doesn’t come home in Silo in season 2, things can get violent very quickly.

Tim Robbins’ Bernard Holland called Juliette a hero during his mayoral speech in Silo Season 2, Episode 2, ‘Order’, but made it clear that her position was that she could not still be alive. The two sides of the argument quickly come to blows, and the tensions that boil over are a great indicator of what’s to come. Without concrete evidence either way, the fate of the flooded Silo found by Juliette will serve as a bloody foreshadowing of what will happen in Silo 18. So if Juliette doesn’t return home in Silo in season 2, things can get violent very quickly.
