Development of the titular city in Megapolis shares many connections with Rome, the most obvious of which is the name of Adam Driver’s character. However, the twins also have an important connection to Rome. In Roman mythology, twin brothers Romulus and Remus founded Rome, and many stories link them to the development of the city. Why did the body of Caesar’s wife disappear?

The mystery surrounding what happened to the body of Caesar’s wife is unclear. one of the biggest questions in everything Megapolisand by the end of the film, little is revealed. Megapolis explains that Cesar’s wife’s body was labeled Jane Doe in the morgue and then stolen. The seizure of her body caused many to point the finger at Cesar and this was used to frame him for her murder.
What really happened to Caesar is never fully explained. Megapolisand this is one of the many remaining mysteries of the film. However, at one point Cicero seems to imply that he was involved in the theft of Teresa’s body and assisted in the plot to frame Caesar. This occurs after the rivalry between Caesar and Cicero ended at the end Megapolisand this could potentially be a clue to what happened to her body.
