Character banners in Honkai: Star Trail 3.0 will undergo a major update, according to leaks. Currently, players have access to the ability to obtain four 5-star characters per patch. Phase 1 banners feature two 5-star units and when the update reaches the second half, the gacha system updates and Phase 2 banners become available, removing the Phase 1 banners. As such, players have three weeks to choose any 5-star character they want.
