The Harry Potter TV Show Needs to Get Hogwarts Right

Snow falls from the ceiling of the Hogwarts Great Hall as students enjoy a festive feast.

THE Harry Potter The TV show's version of Hogwarts will be crucial to get right. The castle can be scary and full of mystery, as in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secretsbut it should also be a comforting and magical place to spend time, especially in Harry's early adventures. This becomes even more important because each season of the TV show will have audiences spending considerably more time within the walls of Hogwarts compared to a two-hour film.

While the Harry Potter The TV show is still several years away, the eight main films in the franchise are fun to watch over the holidays. Even though Hogwarts may not be a real place, it certainly feels like it in the movies, and that's undoubtedly part of the reason the franchise has been such a success.
