The historical drama series with a 100 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes has been canceled by Starz after two seasons.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Snake Queen was canceled at Starz.

Based on the life of French Queen Catherine de' Medici, The Snake Queen is a historical drama created by Justin Haight. The series follows Catherine's rise to the monarchy, from her entry into the French court as a teenager to her eventual place as the reigning queen of France in the 16th century.
