One week after the previous finale (“To Catch a Beef”), Bob’s Burgers returns with its season 15 premiere, and after a surprisingly strong season 14, “The Tina Table: The Tables Got Tina-ed” sets the stage for an even better set of episodes. Of course, it is not without issues. Still, the Bob’s Burgers The 15th season premiere is full of jokes, gives us a handful of memorable character moments and highlights some of the best parts of the Fox animated series for adults.
“The Tina Table: The Tables Have Tina-ed” features one main story and one Bob’s Burgers Subplot, like any typical episode of Loren Bouchard’s sitcom. The main story revolves around Tina’s segment, “The Tina Table,” on the Wagstaff School News (WSN). Many students and teachers find the segment boring, but when Tina learns about Mr. Friend’s new computer game he needs funding for, the two characters help each other. Unfortunately, not everything is as it seems with the game. Back at the restaurant, Bob and Linda switch off to explain horror movie plots (in films they’ve never seen) to Teddy.
“The Tina Table: The Tables Got Tina-ed” is a hilarious start to Bob’s Burgers Season 15
The episode is full of funny one-liners
One quality that every good episode of Bob’s Burgers It has to be funny, which is not too difficult of a task for a sitcom that has been running for 15 seasons. luckily, The season 15 premiere contains many memorable jokes and one-liners. From Linda’s interpretation of Friday the 13thThe plot to Rudy, believing that he is aggressive because of Mr. Friend’s game, the episode is hilarious from start to finish. Plus, the bit between Tina and Mr. Grant about whether mention of “Tina’s table” refers to the news segment or the actual table itself never gets old.

The Plot allows room for multiple laugh-out-loud moments. Almost every student at Wagstaff takes Mr. Frand’s computer game, which gives them confusing results about their personality. As a result, the premiere features clever contradictions about what we know about each character. As for the subplot, the horror movie stories Linda and Bob make up for Teddy are downright hilarious and produce some great Bob and Linda quotes in Bob’s Burgers.
The Bob’s Burgers Season 15 Premiere Wisely Focuses on Tina and Mr. Frond
All the Belchers (and Teddy) still have time to shine in this episode
Everyone has their favorite Bob’s Burgers character, but if one were to poll every viewer, the majority would say Tina. Therefore, it was smart for the writers to open season 15 with a Tina-centric episode. While “The Tina Table: The Tables Got Tina-ed” is certainly not the best Tina Belcher episode in Bob’s Burgers, Dan Mintz’s animated character still shines in it and has many standout moments, Including her frustration with Jimmy Jr. His behavior still received his personality results. Mr. Frond is also one of the show’s best side characters, so using him to elevate Tina’s story was smart.

Although Tina is the focus, The episode still highlights each character’s strengths. Bob and Linda’s competitive nature comes out when trying to decide who is the best at coming up with fake horror movie sites. Gene has many hilarious one-liners (including “Psychobable, qu’est-ce que c’est?”). Louise’s skepticism and investigative skills help her sister solve the premiere’s mystery. Finally, Ted’s gullible behavior results in one of the episode’s funniest scenes.
Bob’s Burgers Season 15 premiere could have been perfect with a sentimental moment
Bob’s Burgers is at his best during emotional scenes
The only thing missing from the Season 15 premiere is a sentimental moment. “The Tina Table: The Tables Have Tina-ed” is far from being one of the most emotional episodes of Bob’s BurgersWhich is probably for the best given its content. however, Some of the best episodes of the animated show contain at least one heartwarming (or heartbreaking) scene. Between select letters. “The Jam Before Christmas” is arguably the top holiday-themed Bob’s Burgers Episode because of Louise’s song, and Bob and Tina’s heart-to-heart in “Vampire Disco Death Dance” is relatable and memorable. Unfortunately, that is missing here.
The writers were able to include a powerful moment between the three Belcher children While Gene and Louise are trying to help Tina; Or Tina and Mr. Friend could have shared a surprisingly moving scene. Finally, for a premiere, it’s quite successful in setting the stage for what will hopefully be a big one Bob S Burgers season, but more emotion would put the episode over the top.
