ONE Pokémon TCG Pocket the player created a binder to get revenge for one of the most complicated cards in the game. The Misty trainer card often makes or breaks Pokémon TCG Pocket matches. The card allows players to continually flip a coin until it comes back tails and then place that same amount of Water energy into a Water-type Pokémon. If a player is lucky, they can instantly load up a high-powered ex-Pokémon card like Articuno. However, the card often puts players at a disadvantage when a player flips tails on the first flip.
Recently, a Pokémon TCG Pocket The player displayed his unique form of revenge against Misty for her poor performance in matches. The player, who passes Murasaki Zetsubou on Reddit posted a photo of a Misty card surrounded by several Bug-type Pokémon. “That's what you get for not giving me face,” the post says. The joke, of course, is that Misty in the Pokémon anime is notoriously afraid of Bug-type Pokémon. It also helps that most Water-type Pokémon in Pokémon TCG Pocket are weak against Grass-type Pokémon, adding insult to injury.
The best Misty decks in Pokémon TCG Pocket
Misty is hot-tempered but powerful in Pokémon TCG Pocket
Building a Misty-focused deck is a dangerous proposition because it's never a guarantee whether the card will actually work. However, the rewards for using Misty are great. Players have a 1 in 8 chance of carrying a Pokémon like Articuno ex on their first turn, providing them with an easy path to success. Players can also use Misty later in matches to power up Starmie ex or Blastoise ex and allow them to use their powerful attacks in a hurry.
The best way to use Misty is to ensure the deck doesn't rely on the energy acceleration the card can provide. For example, using a deck focused on Starmie ex can be successful with or without Misty, as Starmie ex only needs two energy to be effective. Using a low-cost Energy Pokémon as the first line of attack and a more Energy-dependent Pokémon (like Articuno or Blastoise) is probably the best way to mitigate Misty not providing Energy 50% of the time.
Our Take: Misty Needs Fixed Anyway
Misty needs more consistency in Pokémon TCG Pocket
Although Starmie ex is one of the strongest Pokémon cards in the Pokémon TCG PocketMisty is too temperamental to be effective as Blaine or Koga. If Misty was guaranteed to provide at least one energy when played, Water-type decks would become much more prominent in the game.
I'm more interested in seeing what the next one will be like. Mythical Island releases impacts on water-type decks. I'm also interested to see if Pokémon TCG Pocket always try to make errata or rebalance existing cards in the game. Otherwise, Misty may always be confined to Bug-type binders.
