Helen's Black Doves Replacement Twist Sets Up a Big Problem for Season 2

Helen's work as Black Dove included stealing vital government information from her husband. However, after she began an affair with Jason, she no longer wanted to be part of the spy organization. Since Reed discovered that Helen and Jason were romantically involvedshe needed a way to ensure their mission wasn't compromised. So she sent Dani to seduce Wallace and replace Helen in case they needed to kill her.

When Dani blurted out one of Reed's quotes, Helen knew she had been sent to replace her. Finally the time came for the two spies to fight and Helen emerged victorious, but left Dani alive. Although Reed decided to give Helen another chance, That doesn't mean Dani won't try to take Helen's place in Black Doves season 2. In fact, her failure to beat Helen and the reverence she has for the spy may motivate her to continue her mission.

Dani will come up with another plan to get closer to Wallace

Since becoming Wallace's assistant Dani was flirting with him and trying to get him to cheat on Helen. She even told Wallace that Helen was having an affair to separate them. However, Wallace firmly refused his advances, meaning Reed's plan failed, making it harder for Dani to start something with him.

If Dani is anything like Helen, then her failure to complete her mission has undoubtedly made her angry. With Wallace set to be the next prime minister in Black Doves Season 2 creates another opportunity for Dani to try again because they will likely be spending a lot of time together given how busy her schedule is. If Wallace and Helen start having problems and he confides in Dani, she will likely use the information to create more discord between them.
