Heartbreaking All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 Theory Reveals Who The K-Drama’s New Villain Will Be

Cheong-san becoming the villain in We are all dead Season 2 would be a heartbreaking twist for the K-drama zombie following her sacrifice in the Season 1 finale. We are all dead has four main characters – Cheong-san, On-jo, Nam-ra and Su-hyeok – three of whom are safe and sound ahead of the second season. We are all deadhowever, it remains a mystery. Although it would be difficult for a person to survive a falling building while the entire area was being bombed, there are enough clues that suggest that Cheong-san is alive.

Firstly, Cheong-san was bitten by Gwi-na, a hambie, during the fight in episode 11. This means that Cheong-san could have already turned into a hambiewhich would explain his survival. Secondly, although On-jo found the badge she had given Cheong-san covered in ash, we never saw his or Gwi-nam’s body. Lastly, Yoon Chan-young, who plays Cheong-san, was one of the four actors featured in the Netflix film. We are all dead season 2 announcement. That being said, Cheong-san’s return might not be good news, especially if he became a hambie.

Cheong-san Will Be The Main Villain In Season 2, We’re All Dead – Theory Explained

Cheong-san may return as a Hambie without control of his powers

We are all dead introduced the concept of hambies or asymptomatic zombies – people who were infected with the Jonas virus but did not transform completely. Hambies will retain their memories and consciousness, but will have the same desire to attack people and eat human flesh as any other zombie. Although Nam-ra eventually learned how to control her powers, all the ambiguities we saw We are all dead struggle to control their powers. Nam-ra herself almost attacked Su-hyeok and almost killed On-jo. Therefore, if Cheong-san is a hambie now, he might have become very dangerous.

Cheong-san would never choose to hurt his friends, but if he loses control of his newfound zombie powers, he could become a threat.

We don’t know exactly why some people become hambies instead of zombies We are all deadalthough it seems to have to do with your will to live. Whether someone becomes a hambie or a zombie also has to do with who is infecting them. For example, Nam-ra was bitten by Gwi-nam, probably the reason she became an asymptomatic zombie like him. In that case, it’s safe to say that Cheong-san is now a hambie too, assuming he survived. Cheong-san may be struggling to control his powersand that’s why he hasn’t returned yet.

Turning into a hambie doesn’t mean Cheong-san will become a villain, but it does suggest that his return will be more complicated than it seems. Two of We are all dead The first season’s villains – Gwi-nam and Eun-ji – were hambies who struggled to control their powers, after all. Cheong-san would never choose to hurt his friendsBut if he loses control of his newfound zombie powers, he could become a threat. It would be a dark turn for his character.

Nam-ra losing control in season two means Cheong-san could also turn evil

Nam-ra almost killed On-jo in episode 11

Choi Nam-ra from All of Us Are Dead looks angry and her eyes are red.

The biggest evidence to support this theory is that Nam-ra, despite having a good heart and wanting to become friends with the rest of the group, lost control of her powers a few times and almost killed Su-hyeok and On-jo. That’s why Nam-ra chose to separate from the group at the end of season 1 and I only reconnected with them a few months later. Nam-ra took advantage of this time to learn how to control the transformation, although we didn’t see how it happened. She probably had help from other hambies.

Node Now in our school webtoon in which We are all dead is based on, Nam-ra’s story ends a little differently. Although she disappears for a few months, she doesn’t necessarily learn how to control the transformation. Instead, the zombie virus fails to take over Nam-ra for some reason, which everyone confirms is the case after learning that Nam-ra spent several months caring for a little girl and never attacked. The webtoon ends with the military realizing that Nam-ra is the key to the cure.

The fact that We are all dead changed Nam-ra’s ending from the source material, but confirms that hambies will play an important role in season two. This adds to the theory that Cheong-san will also return as an asymptomatic zombie. I assume Nam-ra never encountered Cheong-san during her time living outdoors, otherwise she would have mentioned it to the group when they got together. Alone and struggling to suppress his zombie instincts, Cheong-san may no longer be the character we met in the first season.

Cheong-san not controlling his powers would make his return even better

An “evil” Cheong-san would add a dark touch to We Are All Dead

Since then We are all dead The first season was released on Netflix, many assumed that Cheong-san will return. While it’s hard to argue with that – Yoon Chan-young was after all part of the Season 2 announcement – Cheong-san’s all-but-confirmed return lessens the finale’s impact. Cheong-san’s death was supposed to be a great and tragic moment to We are all dead season 1 until the end. That’s why having him simply return in the first episode of season 2 as if nothing had happened would be very disappointing.

A hambie Cheong-san who can’t control his powers would be a very interesting character, especially since he already had a difficult temper in Season 1, even before the apocalypse began. Cheong-san is always ready to fight and won’t stop until he does what he thinks is right, which could be dangerous if his brain is affected by the Jonas virus. The zombie outbreak in We are all dead started precisely because Dr. Lee Byeong-chan wanted to turn his son’s anger into strengthand that’s why zombies and hambies are so fierce.

Even if Cheong-san doesn’t turn evil, his return should still be bittersweet

Cheong-san’s return shouldn’t be good news after the first season’s sacrifice

We are all dead Season 2 probably won’t make Cheong-san a villain, which doesn’t mean his return couldn’t be bittersweet. Even if Cheong-san never hurts his friends, he may still want to distance himself from them for fear of attacking them, just like Nam-ra did. This would be an interesting story for We are all dead Season 2 to explore – On-jo discovering that Cheong-san is alive and trying to bring him back with the help of Nam-ra and her new hambie friends. Anyway, We are all dead needs new villains.

Unless Gwi-nam returns, We are all dead currently has no major antagonist. One popular theory is that the military will be the real villains of season 2, with Nam-ra and her friends having to protect the hambies. It’s hard to say how Cheong-san will fit into this story. Hopefully, Cheong-san’s return will live up to expectations without ruining the Season 1 finale. We are all dead season two means the Netflix show is expected to deliver something as good, if not better, than season one.
