While Degesu is the voice of reason, saying that they have no reason to venture into the Demon Realm, King Gomah insists that they use the Earth Dragon Balls to turn Goku and his friends into children in order to protect themselves.

Arinsu planted the idea that Goku is a threat to Gomah, and so when Glorio arrives, he specifically asks for Goku and offers to take him directly to the Demon Realm to defeat Gomah.
