Springfield holds a film festival in season 6
The Simpsons Season 6, episode 18, "A Star Is Burns", finds Springfield reacting to being named the most anti-intellectual city in the United States. Upset by her town's negative reputation, Marge suggests they hold a film festival to prove how intellectual and thoughtful they can be. Homer is on the jury at the Springfield Film Festival, which causes problems. Although Man being run over by football is an extremely anti-intellectual short filmHomer loves it.
In the episode, Homer has to decide between the short film featuring Hans Moleman and a very emotional and moving film about Barney's alcoholism. This is such a funny episode of The Simpsons because Homer is a prime example of why Springfield was voted the most anti-intellectual city in the country. Although Barney's short film would better represent the Springfield Film Festival, Homer is Barney's biggest fan. Man being run over by football and believes he deserves the $10,000 prize.
Our opinion on Hans Moleman cosplay
Passfield's Hans Moleman cosplay is amazing. The costume, along with his choice to be slightly bent in the photos to replicate Hans Moleman's stature, is very reminiscent of the character. Including a nod to Man being run over by football makes the cosplay stand out even more, as the short is one of the most memorable moments of the The Simpsons which features Hans Moleman.

The Simpsons is a long-running animated TV series created by Matt Groening that satirically follows a working-class family in the misfit town of Springfield. Homer, an idiot who works at a nuclear power plant, is the breadwinner for his family, while his wife, Marge, tries to maintain sanity and reason at home as best she can. Bart is a born troublemaker and Lisa is his super intelligent sister who finds herself surrounded by people who can't understand her. Finally, Maggie is the mysterious baby who acts as a deus ex machina when the series demands it. The show puts the family in a variety of wild situations while constantly touching on sociopolitical and pop culture topics set in their world, providing an often scathing critique of the subjects covered in each episode. This series premiered in 1989 and has been a staple of Fox programming ever since!
