Notice! SPOILERS for Grey's Anatomy Season 21, Episode 8 ahead.
Which of Grey's Anatomy
Season 21's major exits brought back a sad story from Season 8 of the medical drama involving Teddy. All over Grey's Anatomy, Teddy has experienced several tragedies, directly affecting herself or her loved ones. This was true for the story that motivated Teddy's choice to join the army, but also for the several times his life was in danger while working at Gray Sloan Memorial. However, one tragedy in particular took Teddy by surprise because of how much it affected her after Teddy became emotionally attached to another character completely unexpectedly and quickly.
Mika's departure from Seattle had a similar impact on Grey's Anatomy season 21. His brush with death affected the entire new class of interns, with Grey's Anatomy midseason finale of season 21 showing how much Mika's New Friends Struggled With Almost Losing Her and I noticed how his return to Gray Sloan could have encountered several obstacles. However, no one could have been more affected than Jules. Grey's Anatomy Season 21 began exploring Jules and Mika's romantic connection, but Chloe's illness quickly derailed that by taking all of Mika's attention, and Mika's departure after Chloe's death disrupted Jules and Mika's relationship for good.
Mika's departure leaves Jules as Teddy after Henry's death in Grey's Anatomy Season 8
Jules and Teddy weren't looking for love and were left heartbroken
After excluding Jules because of Chloe's illness, Mika finally realized their connection was worth exploring. Grey's Anatomy season 21, episode 6. This made their romance possible for a brief period, eventually being interrupted by Mika's life being in danger first and Chloe's death later. It wasn't until Mika and Jules got together that Mika understood that she needed to leave Seattle if she wanted to start over after Chloe's death. Mika's decision to leave left Jules helpless, as she never intended to fall in love with anyone and was always vehemently against anything more than a casual fling. since I arrived at Gray Sloan.
Mika is still alive, unlike Henry in Grey's Anatomy Season 8 makes Jules' situation less critical than Teddy's, but the consequences are similar.
Mika's choice in Grey's Anatomy Season 21 makes Jules' position similar to Teddy's in Season 8. Mika is still alive, unlike Henry in Grey's Anatomy Season 8 makes Jules' situation less critical than Teddy's, but the consequences are similar. In the end, Teddy never imagined falling in love with Henry, having only married him to provide him with insurance coverage.. The loss of Henry distraught Teddy enough that she left the hospital in Grey's Anatomy season 8. Jules' refusal to find love only to fall in love with Mika and get burned makes her situation similar to Teddy's after losing Henry.
Jules' heartbreak could put her at the center of Grey's Anatomy season 21's narrative
Grey's Anatomy focused a lot on Jules only when Maxine was sick
Mika suddenly leaving Gray Sloan Memorial could also finally make Jules the focal point of the story. Grey's Anatomy Seasons 19 and 20 focused a lot on Lucas and Simone's stories, both personal and as a couple. Although Jules' perspective was briefly at the center of the story when Maxine arrived at Gray Sloan during her affair with Blue and when Jules supported Simone, Grey's Anatomy never went much further. Jules' heartbreak after inadvertently falling in love with Mika may instead give the character more depth that previous stories have not.finally putting Jules in front of Grey's Anatomy Second half of season 21.
