During The masked singer season 12 premiere, Goo sang a powerful and moving version of Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control”. In her tips package, Goo revealed that growing up, she wanted to tackle everything that stood in her way. He was shown looking at a tackle box. However, he added that, inside, he was very sensitive, overflowing with emotions. Goo shared that once his older brother started playing the guitar, he found his escape. The tacklebox would refer to Kobie’s football career.
As Goo looked at a toy train with disco balls on the back, he shared that after difficult days at school, he would sit in his room, crying, singing through the pains of high school drama. When Goo was shown looking at a French horn, he shared this he became ‘a total music nerd’, starting a cappella groups, music laboratory and even winning awards.
In high school, Kobie was responsible for three a cappella groups. Keenan then said that everyone needs a bit of an emotional outlet. He said that, just like he does on the field, he can’t wait to see Goo perform on stage. Kobie’s nickname is “The Maestro” because of his musical talent and leadership skillswhich is what the train referenced.
After Goo’s performance, another clue about his identity was revealed. Each competitor in Group B brought a different pair of sports shoes that best represented their life. Goo’s shoes were golden cleats decorated with musical symbols, covered in goo.. Goo explained, “Well, for me, you might want to focus on the ‘soul’ of the shoes.”

During The masked singer season 12 Barbie Night, Goo sang a rousing version of Ne-Yo’s “Miss Independent”. Goo’s clue package took place in an amusement park, with a carousel in the background. He began by saying that Barbie’s goal is to empower young women and show them that they can achieve their dreams. He added that there was a “entrepreneurial girl” in your life, your future Mrs. Goo. Goo then looked at a framed photograph of a female Goo character. According to The knotKobie is engaged to Alissa Villanueva and they are planning a wedding for 2025.
Goo then told the story of how he and his fiancée had fun at a theme parkwhere, ironically, he was frustrated and moody. He stated that his guard was up. He then held up a golden ticket. Goo said he was alone on a bench when he looked up and saw her head. She was asking him to dance. Goo said he instantly melted at her kindness, playfulness and confidence. Goo then looked at a popcorn machine that had a bowl of dough and apple slices. He said that at that moment he knew that at that moment he had met his “Soft match.”
Goo then held up an engagement ring as he said he couldn’t wait to become her Mr. Goo next year, which again referenced his and Alissa’s wedding in 2025. Goo was then shown in front of a red church robe with a white cross and a red carousel horse with a pink bow on his cane. Kobie played college football for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

After Goo’s performance, another clue was given about his identity. Each Group B participant’s Barbie Night clue was a toy. Goo’s was a Barbie Dreamhouse. He explained that it was very appropriate for Robin because he knows he’s a fan. Robin said he lives in Malibu, so maybe Goo was his neighbor. Kobie plays for the Los Angeles Rams, an NFL team that Robin is a fan of because he is from Los Angeles.
