The threequel could confirm the connection between the two characters and reveal that he was promised a place of leadership within the Roman Empire alongside Macrinus. This could even set her up to be the main villain of Gladiator 3 who moves to take down Lucius, which would be an exciting development after Calamawy's reduced role.
