Ghosts Season 4 continues Sam’s cruel streak, proving that the series needs Jay’s touch. In front of Ghosts In the Season 4 premiere, the series announced at ComicCon that Jay would be able to see the dead in the next installment of the CBS show. The twist will change the premise of the series, which is based on Sam’s unique ability to see ghosts and Jay’s more grounded reality that audiences can connect with. Therein lies the problem with Jay’s Season 4 twist: It’s crucial to the character in some ways. In others, it risks the balance the show is based on.
Sam has certain disadvantages of being able to see the dead. At some point, every ghost character causes harm to your life. This all results from your ability to see them, but it also has great benefits. The spirits provide Sam with information. Jay being able to see the dead in Ghosts Season 4 will be exciting for the character, but it will also be a wake-up call, as Sam uses Jay’s lack of paranormal vision to trick him.
Sam continues to use his ghost powers to lie to Jay
Jay and Sam generally have a healthy and loving dynamic
In Ghosts season 4, Sam continues to use his gift to trick Jay. Sam can lie to Jay about how the ghosts respond to her since he can’t hear them. Although it is often light-hearted and seems like a joke, a toxic trait between the couple, such as lying, is not characteristic of their healthy and supportive dynamic. While it may seem like a small detail, it’s cruel that Sam would use his gift to lie to Jay. Jay is becoming increasingly outspoken about his inability to see ghosts, fearing he will be left out, and Sam updates this by hiding things.
Jay needs to see the ghosts at Woodstone B&B to feel a sense of connection to his home.
Node Ghosts In the Season 4 premiere, Sam and the other ghosts are searching for Isaac after he is kidnapped by Patience. While searching under a willow tree, Jay is tasked with digging a sizable hole so Sam and the ghosts can investigate. Despite her tiring efforts, Sam lies to Jay, saying it’s a shame she couldn’t find the other shovel so she could help. Alberta immediately calls out Sam for lying, knowing she threw the other shovel behind the shed. Since Jay can’t hear the ghosts, he doesn’t have the same information, proving that Ghosts Season 4’s twist is necessary.

Ghosts Season 4 Will Change Things for Jay
While it may complicate the show’s premise, Jay needs to see the ghosts of the Woodstone B&B to feel a sense of connection to his home, and Sam’s deceptive streak proves it. Even though Jay’s ghost vision is temporary, the ghosts can tell Jay that Sam is deceiving him. Jay could use the information to confront Sam, making her abandon the lies for good. It’s the least she can do, since Jay has already stayed out of most matters in the house. Although this would compromise a continuous process Ghosts joke, this could bring Sam and Jay even closer together.
Ghosts (USA) is a comedy series centered on a young couple who inherit an old mansion only to discover that it is inhabited by eclectic spirits from different historical periods, mixing humor and history as they navigate life among the dead.
