Ghosts Season 4 Continuing a Cruel Sam Trend Makes Jay’s Big Story Problem Worse

Warning! This article contains spoilers for Ghosts Season 4.

Ghosts Season 4 continues the ruthless Sam trend, proving the series needs its Jay twist. Ahead of the Ghosts Season 4 premiere, the series announced at ComicCon that Jay would be able to see the dead in the upcoming installment of the CBS show. The twist will change the premise of the series, which relies on Sam’s unique ability to see ghosts and Jay’s more grounded reality that audiences can relate to. Therein lies the problem with Jay’s season 4 twist: it’s crucial to the character in several ways. In others, it risks the balance the show rests on.

Sam has certain disadvantages of being able to see the dead. At some point, every ghost character causes damage to her life. This all results from your ability to see them, but it also has some great benefits. The spirits provide Sam with intelligence. Jay is able to see the dead in Ghosts Season 4 will be a thrill for the character, but it will also be a wake-up call since Sam uses Jay’s lack of paranormal vision to trick him.

Sam continues to use her ghost powers to lie to Jay

Jay and Sam usually have a healthy and loving dynamic

in Ghosts season 4, Sam continues to use her talent to deceive Jay. Sam can lie to Jay about how the ghosts respond to her since he can’t hear them. Although it is often light-hearted and the setup of a joke, a toxic trait between the couple, like lying, is uncharacteristic of their otherwise supportive and healthy dynamic. Although it may seem like a small detail, it is cruel that Sam uses her talent to lie to Jay. Jay becomes increasingly outspoken about his inability to see ghosts, fearing he’s been left out, and Sam actualizes that by hiding things.

Jay needs to see the ghosts of Woodstone B&B to feel a sense of connection to his home.

in the Ghosts Season 4 premiere, Sam and the other ghosts are looking for Isaac after he is kidnapped by Patience. While searching under a willow tree, Jay is tasked with digging a sizable hole So that Sam and the ghosts can investigate. Despite his tired efforts, Sam lies to Jay, saying it’s too bad she can’t find the other shovel so she can help. Alberta immediately calls Sam out for lying, knowing that she threw the other shovel behind the shed. Because Jay can’t hear the ghosts, he doesn’t have the same intel, proving that Ghosts Time 4 three is necessary.

Lying about the spirits further proves that ghosts need to be big jay twist

Although it may complicate the premise of the show, Jay needs to see the ghosts of Woodstone B&B to feel a sense of connection to his home, and Sam’s seductive pace proves that. Even if Jay’s ghost vision is temporary, the ghosts could tell Jay that Sam was deceiving him. Jay can use the intelligence to confront Sam, causing her to swear off the lies for good. It’s the least she can do since Jay has already been left out of most of the house’s affairs. While it would compromise an ongoing Ghosts Gag, it might bring Sam and Jay even closer.
