Game Of Thrones Art Features Daenerys Fulfilling House Of The Dragon Prophecy

New Game of Thrones artistic images of Daenerys as the savior of humanity. In 2022, Game of Thrones received its first spin-off in the form of Dragon House. Several others are in development, including A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Ten thousand shipsand a project about Aegon’s Conquest. Despite HBO’s best efforts, however, the company was unable to fix the controversial original ending that led audiences to attack the franchise. Consequently, most spin-offs have been prequels rather than sequels or side stories.

New art created by Reddit user Nomi_DBS tries to show Daenerys living up to the public’s expectations. Check out the art below, which is a stunning collage that sees Daenerys facing the Night King:

The post includes several images, which take the viewer through the creation of the design. It was meticulously completed through Photoshop and the artist chosen to fulfill the prophecy of Dragon House pitting Daenerys against the Night King. The prophecy, which concerns a Targaryen uniting the kingdom and stopping the White Walkers, was never actually fulfilled in the series. The art, however, features Daenerys crowned alongside two of her dragons, while the Night King sits astride his horse. The captured dragon Viserion flies after his new master.

What Daenerys’ prophecy means for House Of The Dragon

This Art Shows Why Prophecy Is Important

As much as HBO has avoided a sequel to its hit 2011 show, it hasn’t been afraid to show connections through its prequels. Much of Dance with Dragons revolves around a prophecy concerning the events of Game of Thrones. Rhaenyra Targaryen is convinced that she should fight the White Walkers and needs the crown to do so. This is one of several motivations that forced her to rebel against Aegon II and the Iron Throne. In reality, Daemon Targaryen discovers that Daenerys is the true savior through a series of mysterious visions.

Unfortunately, the prophecies don’t make complete sense. Neither Daenerys nor her dragons killed the Night King. Instead of, Arya Stark stopped the White Walkers with the Valyrian steel cat’s paw dagger. After so many visions and prophecies alluded to Daenerys saving the world, nothing came of it. This work of art, at least, presents a climactic impasse that could very well accomplish all that Dragon House promised. Even though it’s not the actual ending, it offers a vision for a more satisfying conclusion.

Our opinion on this Game Of Thrones art

Shows the 8th season that should have been

It’s hard to overstate how incredible this art is. Although it is a little dark, which can make it difficult to identify details, it adds to the overwhelming darkness of the Long Night. The motion blurs speak of an ongoing blizzard, and Daenerys’ appearance is reminiscent of Rhaenyra, which is tied to Dragon House good. If this image were in Game of Thrones‘ final episodes, could have been a better conclusion. Instead, it will remain in the realm of fan-created artwork, leaving Daenerys with her disappointing ending.
