The original story appeared in The Fantastic Four (vol 1) #48-50 – written by Stan Lee, with art by Jack Kirby – and arguably there is no better comic book to adapt than this seminal text from the Marvel Universe that could only have come from Lee, Kirby and the creative minds of Marvel during the 1960s.
