Disney Cruise LineDisney's newest ship makes its maiden voyage on December 21, and Disney Treasure has a host of new adventure-focused locations and activities. From the moment passengers enter the Aladdin-themed lobby, it's clear they're being whisked away on the ocean version of a magic carpet ride – and beverage options are no small part of that experience. Whether it's the Haunted Mansion Parlor or the Skipper Society (named after the ride and the movie Jungle Cruise), the ship's lounges offer the opportunity to enter a whole new world.
Each lounge is exquisitely designed to evoke a specific Disney film or park attraction (it's often a two-in-one situation), with signature drinks that capture the spirit of that adventurous corner of the world. Naturally, some favorites from previous ships make a big return – like the Beauty and the beastnight-inspired The Rose, from Disney Wish, or the Cove Café, which can be found on 6 of the 8 DCL ships. But there are also 5 halls that are currently exclusive to Disney Treasure, with one of them even incorporating material from the beloved but abandoned 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
TelaRant had the honor of previewing these 5 lounges aboard Disney Treasure for a three-day press trip ahead of its official launch. Below, find our personal ranking of the interesting offers, but remember that each one is worth a visit during your stay.

Society of captains
This Jungle Cruise-inspired lounge is more relaxing than one might expect.
Despite being a sister ship to the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure markets the first The Princess and the Frog-lounge style, The Bayou, for the Jungle Cruise-Skipper Theme Society. Located near the lobby, Skipper Society has cues from the iconic Disney attraction incorporated throughout its design, from luggage tags to postcards recounting past adventures.
The lounge's colors, textures, and even music echo both versions of the Jungle Cruise attraction, and there's no shortage of captain-inspired puns sprinkled throughout the place.
The drinks follow similar themes, focusing on the exotic excitement associated with the ride, making it a perfect match for the Disney Cruise. The main reasons it's ranked last are simply because there weren't many events happening here during my 3-day trip, and no drink flavors or designs stood out to me. But the Hippopotomai-Tai gets a 10/10 for the title, and the Bayab and Campari gin are a good combination. More than anything, Skipper Society is a great place to relax and chat with friends (or listen to your own thoughts).

Sarabi
With the style of the African savannah, Sarabi is the perfect place to catch a live show.
Mufasa hitting theaters on December 20th is the perfect time to introduce a lounge in honor of Simba's mother, and this The Lion KingThe themed location is certainly worthy of its name. It's also larger than most other lounges, with seating on two decks and a 2-story LED screen that makes for a perfect entertainment spot.
And it's certainly fun, as exemplified in “Choose Wisely! An Indiana Jones Comedy Adventure,” where comedy duo Coriander and Sage race through highlights from all 5 Indiana Jones films before a jazz singer takes the stage at the Sarabi Supper Club. Events like these can be enjoyed while sipping a refreshing drink, alcoholic or not. Speaking of drinks, my personal recommendation is Pride Sunset (which contains Sango Agave, Passion Orange Guava and Pama Pomegranate).

Periscope Pub
This lounge brings back a lost artifact from Walt Disney World.
Given the fact that Disney World's Magic Kingdom has closed its 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea attraction in 1994, it may come as a surprise that Disney Treasure chose this attraction to inspire one of its new lounges. But I'm personally grateful for it, because Periscope Pub is absolutely beautiful. The blue and gold color scheme is appropriate for seafaring, with a window facing the vast ocean (not to mention an aquarium display on the ceiling that uses real-time footage captured of the ocean) that is reminiscent of Captain Nemo's shipboard adventures. of the Nautilus.
The devil is in the details at Periscope Pub, which is full of Easter eggs that nod not only to the beloved Disney ride and 1954 film, but also to other ships in the Cruise Line fleet.
Eagle-eyed observers can find the Treasure's hull number (as well as that of her sister ship the Wish) engraved on various artistic decorations throughout the pub. Even the water fountains have underwater designs, which help engage visitors as they order their drinks and perhaps watch some sporting events. Speaking of drinks, I can't say enough good things about the Outis Daiquiri (with SelvaRey White Rum, Luxardo Maraschino, lemon and grapefruit).
2
Scat Cat Lounge
This spot is flying high on drinks and vibes.
The Aristocats It may not be the first movie that comes to mind when someone says “adventure,” but the drinks at Scat Cat Lounge fall into that category. The jam-inspired drinks are my favorite, from the sweet and tangy strawberry jam option with Tanqueray Ten and a literal jar of jam to the Grape jelly flavor that combines Skrewball peanut butter whiskey with a literal PB&J sandwich.
The bar's atmosphere matches perfectly with the cat decor reminiscent of The Aristocats with the Aladdinlobby color palette. The Scat Cat Lounge also hosts a range of performances, thanks to the paw-filled grand piano in the center. Jazz renditions of your favorite Disney songs will filter through while your head spins from having to try all exciting drink that the menu offers. Meanwhile, for those looking to wean themselves off alcohol, the Zero-Proof Parisian is made up of Brunswick Aces Spades, Raspberry, Lemon and Agave.

Haunted Mansion Hall
The Disney Treasure Lounge Excellence grand prize goes to none other than the Haunted Mansion Parlor, which is like a mini-trip to the 1969 version of the Disneyland ride all on its own, right up to Donald Duck's chair. The dark atmosphere kicks in from the moment your eyes meet the Tomb Sweet Tomb sign at the entrance, and periodic appearances of friendly ghosts amid the dark, moody lighting complete the immersion.
Be sure to check out each painting, mirror and aquarium for a unique and spooky experience.
Although drinks may not be quite As adventurous as the ones at Scat Cat Lounge, there are some really cool ones to check out. The zero-proof Sympathetic Libations come with their own secret message that materializes upon arrival, while the alcohol-free Ghostly Retreat (a sweet grenadine blend) offers gummies for your chewing pleasure and a light-up souvenir cube to thank you for the memories . The best thing about Haunted Mansion Parlor is that you will have a different experience every time you come, depending on where you sit and when you look around.
