Metaphor: ReFantazioNecromancer Takedown and its associated dungeon, the Grand Cathedral of Regalith, are the first introduction to time management for players. Players face a deadline to defeat the necromancer Zorba while gaining access to activities available in the Grand Trad. Properly timing dungeon completion, activities, prompts, and rewards can be tiring at first. Still, it’s a great way to make the dungeon run smoothly and create a solid foundation as the game opens up.
As Character Palaces, players are given a calendar deadline to enter the dungeon and defeat Zorba in Metaphor: ReFantazio. Activities such as shopping, listening to conversations, and meeting More do not advance in time. However, once completed, other activities will take up the time slot you are currently in. The deadline encourages players to make wise decisions about how they will spend their daysbalancing dungeon completion with title progression, royal virtues, and side quests.

Everything to know about the Necromancer takedown
Necromancer Takedown and the broader activities available to the player begin on 6/12. Once the quest begins, players will have until 6/21 to complete Regalith Grand Cathedral and achieve any free time-related objectives. It is important to note that Completing the dungeon early does not advance the time to 6/21.
For example, completing the dungeon on 6/14 leaves the player free to examine the Grand Trad with the remaining time limit. A considerable portion of the activities are unlocked when the dungeon is completed, so clearing it as early as possible makes finishing limited quests more viable.
Completing the Necromancer takedown by itself does not offer any fixed rewards. However, inside the dungeon, there are countless chests in Metaphor: ReFantazio and rare items to collect, and defeating enemies gives a steady stream of Reeve, the main currency of Metaphor Re: Fantazioand MAG, the currency used to interact with the archetype system via More.
Dungeon bosses will also reward you with large amounts of resources and unique valuables that can be sold for a good amount. Outside of the dungeon, side quests and bounties can reward you with Royal Virtue Points, title boosts, items, and resources.

How to use your time
THE the best time to complete the game’s first main dungeon is at the beginning of the time limit, such as 6/14. Normally, progressing bonds with your party members is an essential component of free time, but this feature is locked until dungeon completion.
The recruitment center will also offer your first reward after completing the dungeon. Lastly, Briggita, a merchant on Sumleo Street, offers the player a quest to deal with an optional dungeon and boss, which are likely too difficult for a party to enter without completing the Cathedral.
If you intend to clear Regalith Cathedral in one day, managing MP is key. Buy health items instead of using healing spells and utilize the Mage Archetype to restore MP by killing enemies in the overworld.
The purpose of the free time before entering the Cathedral is to increase your party’s immediate strength. One of the easiest ways to do this is by purifying equipment and weapons you may have obtained in the Northern Mines, which upgrades your stats and adds new abilities.
Happily, purifying equipment and accepting Briggitas’ quest require level 2 Wisdomso you can access both by simply completing Young Nidia’s quest on Sumleo Street, which offers Wisdom points as one of its rewards. The next day, hand over the chase, purify all available equipment and accept Briggita’s request.

As a last preparation, feel free to complete the remaining side quest, A pagan’s dilemmastock up on MP items at the Entero Water Shop and upgrade your equipment at the Smithy and Shield Works, neither of which advances time.
After finishing the Cathedral, I recommend taking the reward.”Not so man’s best friend“before Briggita’s quest, as it is shorter and more accessible to complete. Then, level up your bond with Strohl and Hulkenberg at least once and fill the remaining time through repeatable virtue activities in Metaphor: ReFantazio.
