When a Fortnite player let his girlfriend try the game, they didn’t expect her to win in such a ridiculously absurd way. Fortnite is an easy game to learn but difficult to master, and earning victories in the Battle Royale multiplayer shooter is a badge of honor. Sometimes, however, it is possible to get lucky and win, and that is exactly what happened to the player’s girlfriend.
User cool56jg uploaded a recording of the victory to Reddit, explaining that she “He hid the entire game and then killed the last player like that…” The video shows the player’s girlfriend approaching the end player head on and using every weapon available to him. She then manages to defeat her opponent at the last moment, with a piece of her life remaining. User Space4Time applauds the player’s girlfriend for achieving the victory, highlighting that “You can do everything right and still lose.”
Fortnite player’s GF employs the tried-and-true “throw everything at him” strategy
Sometimes luck beats skill
The video shows the player’s girlfriend aiming at the last opposing player from the top of a hilland then wildly fire at them with shots that miss their target. She begins to advance, switching to a different assault rifle and apparently changing her mind and almost throwing a shield potion.
As she runs towards her opponent, the chaos continues. She fires a harpoon that falls harmlessly to the ground, far from the target. Finally, she decides what is apparently the best weapon to kill a lone player, the rocket launcher. The other player manages to skip the first shot, taking only a little damage and returning a barrage of shots that nearly destroys the player’s HP bar. As the player panics and flips through all the weapons, a final shot hits the target, resulting in a well-deserved and hard-fought victory.
It probably wasn’t fun to receive this Fortnite victory
It can be difficult to tell who is a real player and who is a bot
It must have been terrible to be on the other side of the game as one of the last players remaining, only to be eliminated by a surprise attack. Many of the comments note that cool56jg’s girlfriend plays as a bot, who appears in the game randomly. They may look real, but they tend to have poor aim and a large detection area. Robots they often start shooting badly at players and from afarlike the player’s girlfriend does here.
As a result, it’s quite possible that the opponent here thought they had just been eliminated by a bot rather than a real person. The way the player moves and attacks is very similar to the way a bot moves, which probably only made the loss even worse. This match shows how important it is to keep fighting until the last moment because you never know when a lucky Fortnite beginner could be lurking around the corner.
