Star Wars: Skeleton Crew introduced a new starship that gives even the Millennium Falcon a run for its money as Star Wars the biggest “piece of trash.” Although the Falcon has become an icon in Star Wars movies and TV shows and is widely considered one of the best starships in the world. Star WarsIt's a long-running joke in the franchise that the Falcon is actually just a piece of junk. Lucas was the first to verbalize this in the original Star Wars trilogy, but Rey reiterated this in Star Wars: The Force Awakensreferring to Falcão as “trash.”
Skeleton Crew has now introduced a new ship, the Onyx Cinder, a pirate ship previously owned by famous pirate Tak Rennod. Despite having a great legacy, the Onyx Cinder has clearly fallen into disrepair over the years, no doubt in part because it was housed in the soil of Attin, unused for an indeterminate period of time. This now raises the question: Is the Onyx Cinder even bigger? “piece of trash” than the Millennium Falcon?
The Onyx Cinder is literally falling apart
Unlike the Falcon, the Onyx Cinder may actually be “trash”
Perhaps the biggest difference between the Millennium Falcon and the Onyx Cinder, which puts the Onyx Cinder in contention for Star Wars biggest rubbish is the fact that, Despite the Falcon's reputation as 'trash', it obviously hides some extensive power. After all, one of the first things Star Wars What the public learns about the Falcon is that it made the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs. In A New HopeIt wasn't entirely clear what this actually meant, but it was clear that the starship had some real power and speed.
That doesn't appear to be the case with the Onyx Cinder. In fact, in true pirate fashion, Onyx Cinder appears to comprise a series of improvised pieces. Presumably, rather than pay for more serious repairs or maintenance on the ship, Tak Rennod found (or, rather, stole) parts from other ships to replace the Onyx Cinder's broken or faulty parts. This left the starship truly falling apart, which only became clearer and clearer over time. Skeleton Crew.

Will Onyx Cinder survive the trip back to Attin?
The children's future remains uncertain, but will the ship make it back?
Given the Onyx Cinder's current condition, it's worth questioning whether the ship still has the power to take the children back to Attin at this point.. Of course, the Skeleton Crew children may have a much bigger obstacle in the way of getting home based on Skeleton Crew episode 5. During this episode, Jod Na Nawood betrayed the children by taking over as captain, and in an effort to escape, the children fell through a trap door of sorts.
SM-33 is also now working with Nawood as he has become the captain, raising new questions about whether the children would be able to pilot the Onyx Cinder themselves if they were able to return to it. It will be interesting to see if the kids and Nawood actually go their separate ways after episode 5. In either case, Star Wars newest starship in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew could result in the Millennium Falcon being considered a piece of junk.
The first five episodes of Skeleton Crew are now streaming on Disney+.
