Manny worries that Bode and Gabriela will end up like him and Roberta

Kevin Alejandro as Manny Perez and Diane Farr as Sharon Leone in episode 1 of season 3 of Fire Country

Manny’s opposition to Bode invading Gabriela’s wedding was already evident in Land of Fire season 2, episode 10. His speech about that day being Gabriela’s happiest was what convinced Bode not to tell Gabriela his feelings for her, although neither Manny nor Bode knew that Gabriela actually reciprocated Bode’s feelings at that time. Although this setup made Manny’s interference a genuine concernespecially considering how he couldn’t have known that Gabriela still had feelings for Bode, your request to Sharon in Land of Fire Season 3, Episode 1 could potentially hide manipulative intentions after learning that Gabriela chose to stop the wedding.

Manny insinuated that what he saw when he looked at Bode and Gabriela trying to detect fires was a “lovers’ quarrel,”even accusing Bode of wanting“ruin your daughter’s wedding”For Vicente. Only hearing from Vince that Gabriela ran towards the victims of the crashed helicopter in relief convinced Manny of how emotionally involved Bode and Gabriela were, which prompted his unusual request to Sharon. Manny wanting to keep Bode and Gabriela apart because their dynamic reminded him of him and his ex-wife Roberta proved his concern for bothbut asking Sharon for this cements Bode and Gabriela’s difficulties in being together.

Fire Country Season 3’s Reason for Keeping Bode and Gabriela Is Worse Than Prison and Diego

Sharon didn’t seem convinced by Manny’s assessment of what Bode and Gabriela’s relationship could do to her. Land of Fire season 3, episode 1, but that doesn’t mean seeing them in action couldn’t change her mind. In fact, Between her supposed blindness to Gabriela and Bode’s feelings for each other and the pressure to ensure Bode’s parole went smoothly, Sharon could easily be convinced to comply with Manny’s order.especially if they sentenced Manny, as that would make her request her last before going to prison, making it imperative that she keep her word to him.

Manny and Sharon’s plan could potentially be much worse than the impediments to Bode and Gabriela’s relationship. Land of Fire seasons 1 and 2. In fact, the fact that Bode was incarcerated should have prevented them from starting a relationship, but Bode and Gabriela still did so. Likewise, Gabriela’s engagement to Diego only temporarily stopped her from thinking about Bode. However, Manny and Sharon working against them to preserve Gabriela’s future and Bode’s parole would be harder for them to oppose, especially if they did not have good enough reasons, as would be done in the interests of Bode and Gabriela.

Why it’s best to keep Bode and Gabriela apart in Fire Country (for now)

Fire Country Season 3 Has More Interesting Stories

Stephanie Arcila as Gabriela Perez and Max Thieriot as Bode Leone in episode 1-1 of season 3 of Fire Country

Gabriela and Bode’s story saw them fight so hard to become romantically involved, and have the chance to be together for the first time in Land of Fire season three makes its story even more timely. However, Although it may be difficult to keep Bode and Gabriela apart now that they know each other’s feelings, separating them can still work.. In fact, although it was introduced hastily, Manny’s concern for Bode and Gabriela could be reasonable, especially since Bode had just been released and Gabriela had just started her new career.

Being apart can work in [Bode and Gabriela’s] favor, as focusing on other stories could make it more likely that their love would be explored in more detail later.
