The trailer for Land of Fire Season 3 Episode 5 sees the debut of veteran television star Jared Padalecki as Bode’s boss. It was announced earlier this year that, following his starring role on The CW’s hikerPadalecki was ready to join Land of Fire 3rd season with the aim of a possible spinoff. Just a few days left until the Supernatural alum makes his firefighting debut, it looks like the newcomer will cause a little chaos.
A new promotion for Land of Fire Season 3, Episode 5, titled “Edgewater’s About to Get Real Cozy,” pulls back the curtain on the arrival of Padalecki. The episode is directed by Mark Tonderai and written by Jen Klein. In the brief preview of the November 15 episode on CBSincluded below, it’s clear that the new character has his own idea of how to run things, even if it could be considered reckless or harmful. Padalecki’s character is a wild addition
Padalecki joins the Land of Fire cast as Camdena SoCal firefighter and independent. According to the official description, Camden has a “surfer arrogance”And he is a force to be reckoned with. Before the character’s debut, it was teased that Camden would instantly[…] recognize the raw talent of Bode, the main character played by Max Thieriot. AND, If the cameo goes well, Padalecki’s character could move on to his own spinoffbut this is in its early stages so far, with no writers hired.
While early previews made it seem like Camden would be a positive addition to the Land of Firethe latest previews complicate this narrative a little. Camden insists on the promotion he wants to teach Bode his own way of becoming a firefighter, even though it is unsafe. Not to mention the ongoing romance drama between Bode and Gabriela (Stephanie Arcila), who continues to be the driving force of the series.

Along with the news of Padalecki’s accession Land of Fireit was announced that CBS Studios has extended its first-look deal with Padaleci, which involves the development and production of a new series for CBS Studios. It continues the actor’s quietly impressive run on the small screen, which began with Gilmore Girls and Supernatural in the early 2000s and continues today.
Land of Fire season three airs Fridays at 9pm ET on CBS.
