FF9 remake is not the final fantasy remake we need to see next

Game Final Fantasy Remakes have been a popular topic thanks to the massive undertaking that the FF7 Remake trilogy has been, and how much it changed the original game. For a long time, there was no shortage of requests for these FF7 Remake we finally get. Now, players have their eyes on what the next remake could be, and one of the most requested options is Final Fantasy 9. While I have nothing against FF9It’s not the game that I believe should be next in line for a remake.

So far, the next Game Final Fantasy Game getting a remake has not been officially revealed by Square Enix. However, there have been leaks suggesting that Final Fantasy 9 Might get a remake next, though not one with changes made to that extent FF7 Had. Of course, leaks cannot be trusted completely, and even when they are true at the time, much can change during the development of a game. Besides, I think any other game in the franchise needs a remake more than that FF9.

Final Fantasy 6 should get the next FF7 remake treatment

A complete overhaul and update

Final Fantasy 6 is sometimes confused with Final Fantasy 3Because the release order for North America was slightly different from Japan’s release order when it comes to early Game Final Fantasy Games. I know this Final Fantasy 6 Has received a pixel remaster in the pastBut a pixel remaster is far from a full remake. It makes the game more accessible to modern audiences, especially since the Pixel Remaster includes a PC version, but that’s not always more appealing to a modern audience.

I enjoy my fair share of pixel games, but I feel like the graphics of newer ones Game Final Fantasy Games have incompetent players, myself included. The character details in FF7 remake Help give the cast an extra layer of depth that was not possible to include in the original game because of its graphical and technological limitations. While FF7 Already a beloved game with its original graphics, its look along with its outdated gameplay mechanics and control schemes that weren’t made with a PC or newer controllers in mind can be enough to deter players from trying it out.

As far as pixel games go, Final Fantasy 6 It’s fun and playable when you use the remastered version, and it’s not too expensive to get your hands on. But I will be honest and say that I am among those players who would not consider pixelated graphics as my preferred styleEspecially for RPGs. In comparison, the graphics for FF9 Doesn’t look bad. They are outdated, but they hold up well. A remaster and touch up for controls would be enough to significantly upgrade FF9So there is no need for a full remake like that FF7 Received.

The Story of Final Fantasy 6

Another fight against God

The heroes of Final Fantasy VI take on a godlike Kefka in the final battle

FF6 Has one of Game Final Fantasy Best villains, with Kefka leading the charge that threaten the entire world. Kefka used Terra as a tool, asking her to burn 50 soldiers to death after he put a slave crown on her to test her magic. You could summarize the game as a battle between a great empire trying to conquer the world and a group of rebels trying to stop it, or even as A fight against fate and gods to explore your own destiny. Veteran Game Final Fantasy Players will find the storylines quite familiar.

Of course, the story is much more complicated than that, which tends to be the case with these Game Final Fantasy Franchise. FF6 is set in a world where magic has become legend, however Terra is able to use it naturally because of her unique heritage. This makes her an important weapon for Kefka, and an invaluable asset to the Returners, who are working to fight the Empire. In the end, this is the recipe for not just a classic Game Final Fantasy game, but also the formula for a classic JRPG.

I think it’s a shame not to have the opportunity to see what a full remake of FF6 Could look like with a revamp on the level of FF7s remake, at least not soon. Although they are the beginning of the franchise, quite a few of the early games are only available as pixel remasters, if at all, and I know some players who prefer the realistic high-quality graphics of modern games, not that I blame. They for him. I love when games look great, too. However, I would also love to see the great stories have new life.

A Final Fantasy 9 Remake seems like the most likely next move for Square Enix, and FF9 Received love in the form of a reference in FFXIV: Downtrail. I’m not surprised that it would be the next choice for a remake yet FF7Or. It’s another favorite entry in the series, and I love it too. I just think that it’s going well, and It would be great to see the older posts get some attentiontoo. However, I imagine the resources needed to remake the older games would be greater compared to Enable FF9 A touch-up.

Remakes are all the rage right now, but not every game needs to be remade or remastered. on the other hand, Games like FF7 have seen a huge influx of interest because of its remakeEven if it is a bit frustrating to buy three games at full price to see the whole story. However, remakes and remasters are a big trend right now, and even if FF9 is next in line yet FF7Square Enix’s catalog to choose from for remakes can seem endless. That means there are endless possibilities for the future, too.

My hopes for a FF6 Remake may never come to fruition, but it will remain one of my favorite games in the franchise. If nothing else, I hope more players will try at least the pixel remaster of it, if only to experience a truly classic Game Final Fantasy Story and JRPG style gameplay. Other than that, I will be watching and waiting for more remakes to bring new life to the world of Game Final FantasyEven if it’s not the exact world of Final Fantasy 6.
