Stardew Valley fans love attention to detail
The effort to recreate the farm makes this a unique take on a holiday classic
Some with eagle eyes Valley of the Stars fans noticed that one of the trees in the gingerbread farmhouse didn't exactly look like a fruit tree that players would receive in year one. RevolutionaryRub8026 explained that they allowed mango candies in their ginger farm as a callback to Ginger Island, where players can purchase new NPCs and find mango fruit trees. However, they also admitted that it was easier to get mango candies and wanted to try them before adding them to the gingerbread farm. Depending on the player's goals, getting fruit trees in the first year might not be at the top of their list, so RevolutionaryRub8026's trees are more for sweet aesthetics than gameplay accuracy.
