How the Starz show will differ from Fallout
Although Purnell’s role in Yellowjackets Has also been met with praise, she rocketed to a new level of fame with the release of Fallout earlier this year, in which she plays a sheltered vault-dweller venturing into an apocalyptic landscape. Reviews were glowing from audiences and critics alike, and the show was a major viewership hit, with Fallout Season 2 now confirmed to be on the way.

Our take on the Sweetpea trailer
Why the Starz Show is one to look forward to
Purnell has proven himself a captivating actor in recent years, and Sweetpea has the added benefit of having Slow Horses (2022-) and Heartstopper (2022-) producers on board, two shows that have been critically acclaimed during their respective runs. Sweetpea Also looks to have tonal similarities to The end of the world (2017)Another darkly comic British thriller about tormented young people turning to violence, which was a show I particularly enjoyed.
Purnell’s roles in Yellowjackets And Fallout See her nailing both powerful dramatic moments as moments of comedy, and Sweetpea Certainly looks to have plenty of both. It remains to be seen how Sweetpea Will relax with audiences and critics, but it has the makings of a fun and perhaps surprisingly violent ride.
