What happened at the end of Evil Dead Rise
As with all Evil Dead movies, not everyone survives
Once Eli awakens as a Deadite, chaos ensues across the apartment building. It culminates with a hybrid deadite formation of the bodies of Ali, her children Danny and Bridget, and her neighbors Gabriel and Mr. Fonda. They merge into a single deadite, and Eli’s uninfected sister Beth must save Eli’s youngest and only surviving daughter Cassie from the multi-armed abomination’s clutches. Beth uses a chainsaw to force the Deadite into a wood chipper, and as is typically the case with Deadites, even that isn’t enough to end things; Ali’s severed head rolls out for a final verbal stab at the bed.
As the Dedite-possessed Ellie targets others’ fears to torment them and works her way to infect them, her boss still tries to exploit Beth’s professional and personal insecurities. But this time, Beth begs and accepts that her sister is dead, finally kicking her head back into the chipper. Beth and Cassie drive off, seemingly ending the story for them.

Even though Beth is just introduced as an ordinary guitar technician, the unpredictable turn of events after Eli’s possession tests her survival skills to the fullest.
