
Disney's popular animated series Phineas and Ferb is coming back soon for a brand new fifth season, and there's already a lot to know about the cartoon's revival. The series, which ran for four seasons between 2007 and 2015, concerns step-brothers Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher, who spend their summer vacations creating elaborate and sometimes dangerous schemes. While avoiding their controlling older sister Candace, the two are unaware that their pet platypus, Perry, is actually a secret agent tasked with foiling the plans of the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz. Phineas and Ferb stood apart from Disney's other fare.
Despite being somewhat short-lived (considering its huge cultural appeal), Phineas and Ferb Lived through feature films, video games and even a small presence in Disney theme parks. With developments happening quietly behind the scenes for several years, the latest news sees some key details about these Phineas and Ferb Revival revealed at NYCC. The 2024 edition of New York City Comic Con was graced with a presentation about the upcoming fifth season of the popular animated series, and It was confirmed that some of the original cast will be back. Vincent Martella (Phineas), Dan Povenmire (Doofenschmirtz), Ashley Tisdale (Candace), Jeff Marsh (Major Monogram), Dee Bradley Baker (Perry), Caroline Rhea (Linda), and Alyson Stoner (Isabella) will all reprise their roles. Additionally, David Errigo Jr. will once again play Ferb.
