The exclusive image shared by Screen speech puts the emphasis on the Evil Queen (Gal Gadot), who angrily examines herself in the ornate magic mirror. Although it doesn't reveal much in terms of story, the image highlights the intricate attention to detail put into the film's set, costumes, and makeup.

Fans are divided over the live-action remake
Images that were taken by the press during filming sparked some controversy over the casting, as many who saw the photos weren't happy at all. The photos, which showed what appeared to be Snow White and the seven dwarfs, caused an uproar among some fans. In fact, they were stand-ins for Zegler and seven actors of various genders and ethnic backgrounds as the seven dwarfs. Most of the backlash was blamed on Disney for not casting people of smaller stature in the roles of the seven dwarfs, as well as Zegler, who is of Colombian descent, being cast as Snow White.
For some fans, the implication is that Snow White was worthless as a Disney princess without becoming a leader, or that dreaming of true love is not something a young girl should do.
Zegler found himself once again in the midst of controversy over his comments about the film's modernization. At D23 in September 2022, Zegler explained to the press what she believed the live-action film took Snow White away from the conventions of the past to become a woman who could be a leader and didn't need a prince to save her.
