After seven years of continuous support and constant updates, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the free game Animal crossing Nintendo’s mobile game, will close at the end of November. Fortunately, the game won’t disappear completely. Instead of, Pocket Camp will become an offline version of itself called Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp complete. As the game goes offline, some aspects of the game will no longer be available.
Like other mobile games, Pocket Camp included some in-app purchases that included special event items and an in-game currency called Leaf Tickets, which allowed players to purchase in-game items and benefits, such as covering lost materials for crafting. Since Complete pocket camping will no longer allow in-app purchases, opting for a one-time, upfront fee, some of these special items and benefits will no longer be available to players.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp features not complete
Leaf tickets, stamps and more will disappear
The two main features that will not be in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp complete are Leaf Tickets and Pocket Camp Club, the subscription service that offers players special benefits at their camps. Items that will not be transferred to Complete pocket camping include Leaf tickets, gifts from friends and cookies. Players must use their Leaf Tickets and other non-transferable items before Pocket Camp hang up on November 28th, as from that date tickets will be discontinued.
As Pocket Camp Club is being discontinued, the following features will be disabled, in accordance with Nintendo.

With all these lost resources of Pocket CampNintendo provided a silver lining by confirming that some other features of the subscription service, such as camp caretaker, would be available to all players in Complete pocket camping. The camp caretaker is a player-appointed villager who completes tasks for players, chats with them, and collects rewards, items, and friendship points. This is one of the best features of subscribing to the Happy Helper Plan, which is why its inclusion in the Complete pocket camping is a welcome addition which can even attract new players.
Another important feature Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp it was your online communication between friends. Since Complete pocket camping is going offline, Most features involving friends will no longer be available. Instead, Nintendo is introducing Camper Cards, a new feature that allows players to create their own card and allows other players to register that card and bring their friends to a new location called Whistle Pass. This small area will allow players to see their friends Amiibo card style since they will no longer be able to interact with them online.
Items that will not be sold in Pocket Camp Complete
Collaboration events will no longer be available
While Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp enjoyed fun collaborations with other brands or crossovers with other Nintendo brands, players will no longer be able to place them Complete pocket camping if they haven’t unlocked them yet. Nintendo confirmed that the following event items will no longer be available in the offline version of the game.

These event items will be greatly missed as were especially cute items from beloved brands. For example, the Eevee Hood, backpacks and character wallpapers from Sanrio and Mario themed clothing items such as the iconic mustache and hats. Some similar items are available at Animal Crossing: New Horizonsso players can still get their Sanrio and Super Mario fixes to the Nintendo Switch game.
Other exclusive items also cannot be obtained once Pocket Camp turns off. This includes some selected Villager maps that were previously part of special events. Most of the other Villager maps will still be obtainable in Gulliver Islands, but those that were in limited events will not be. The following maps will not be available.

While it’s sad that newer players will no longer be able to collect these special items, Nintendo has confirmed that any items that have already been obtained in Pocket Camp by older players will be kept transferring saved data to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp complete. Unfortunately, if players have been left out in the past, then they will be locked forever, but the luckiest players will get to keep their items.
Most Pocket Camp features and items carry over
Existing save data will be transferred
Nintendo confirmed that player save data Pocket Camp will transfer to Complete pocket camping. This saved data includes “furniture, clothing, amenities and pieces of land” as well as the “level, animal friendship levels, and items such as crafting materials, insects, fish, and so on. This means that everything players have collected in their years of playing Pocket Camp will still be on Complete pocket campingexcept Leaf Tickets and other online-only resources.
In addition to confirming that players’ save data would be transferred, Nintendo also quietly announced that the company would continue to add new items at some point in the future. This may not mean the same level of ongoing support that the mobile game has enjoyed in its seven years, but it does mean that players can expect a certain amount of new content after the game goes offline. Hopefully, Complete pocket camping will receive more attention and updates than New Horizons has on Switch, as the last update for this major title was in late 2022. Fans of Animal crossing must also ensure that they obtain the exclusive Pocket Camp items in New Horizons before it’s too late.
Players should note that transferring to Complete pocket camping it will not be done automatically. Anyone who plays Pocket Camp I will need to buy Complete pocket camping first in the app store and then transfer the data. It would be better for anyone Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp players to make sure their save data is up to date so that no progress is lost in the change.
