Season 2 raises the stakes for Gi-hun and the remaining survivors of the games before the show ends, but it also leaves only a handful of candidates who can win the games. 100 - I am Jeong-dae
In last place in terms of chances of winning the games, Im Jeong-dae, also known as player 100, is an elderly man who owes more than 10 billion won in debt. Despite the incredible amount owed, 100 is also the greediest and appears to be someone who has lived comfortably his entire life. Although he declares that he only wants to obtain money to help pay off his debts, 100's intentions seem more dubious and cruel.
He has no remorse for other people's lives and losses. He is quick to pressure, intimidate, and put others down. And overall, he would be the least satisfying person to win games. He also relies on the help and support of other people, as soon as it comes to a physical fight where 100 need to fight, he will probably break down.

144 - Seon-nyeo
Seon-nyeo had a complicated experience in squid game series. As a failed shaman, she was once highly regarded, but over time, her career has declined to the point that people now see her as a raving lunatic, and she no longer has the funds to support herself. However, Seon-nyeo appears to have some genuine gift of perception that allows him to read and predict the actions of others.

Geum-ja and Yong-sik also experienced multiple life-threatening situations that made them fight and recognize more of what they hold dear.
Due to Geum-ja's advanced age, it seems unlikely that she will be able to survive to the end. However, with her son's help, she has a good chance of making it to the next round. Ultimately, though, now that so many O's have survived and the X's have largely been wiped out, it seems unlikely that the next round will be the last.

007 - Park Yong Sik
Park Yong-sik is Geum-ja's son and a player who has changed a lot in just a few episodes. Initially, Yong-sik proved how much he loves his mother in the game Red Light, Green Light when he pushed her back to keep her safe. However, in Mingle, Yong-sik was dragged to safety by two other players and offered very little resistance to go back and protect his mother, leaving her possibly dead.
Yong-sik also wanted to step forward and fight with Gi-hun when the uprising happened, but due to his mother's influence, he didn't. Yong-sik is large and physically strong, but with his attachment to his mother and his hesitancy to act on the right things, he is unlikely to be crowned victorious. Instead, Yong-sik will be able to develop further in squid game Season 3, but it seems likely that he and his mother will die in the games.

388 - Kang Dae-ho
Kang Dae-ho joined the group that includes Gi-hun, Oh Young-il and Jung-bae. Dae-ho has repeatedly stated that he was a former army officer, and since Jung-bae also served in the army, Dae-ho serves under his command, carrying out his requests and orders. However, when Dae-ho participates in the uprising with Gi-hun and the others, he struggles to become involved in a shootout.
Dae-ho is assigned to return to the main room and get more ammunition for those fighting on the front lines, and ends up retreating after what appears to be a PTSD episode. This doesn't bode well for his future in gaming, as when things get tense, Dae-ho can't stay calm and in control. As a result, Dae-ho will likely be overpowered and defeated in other games despite his strength and skill.

Park Min-su is a seemingly shy young man who forms an uneasy alliance with players like Thanos and Nam-gyu. Although he disagreed with their perspectives and voting, Min-su wanted the protection they offered, and when an opportunity arose to go with Se-mi during the Mingle, he betrayed her to ensure his survival, teaming up with Nam-gyu and Thanos. .
From that point on, Min-su seemed more like a wolf in sheep's clothing, ready to betray trusted allies and serve his own ends. It may not be kind or good, but this kind of cruelty has the potential to go far in competitions like these deadly games. Min-su may not be the final winner, but he can advance to the next round.

124 - Nam Gyu
Nam-gyu was already friends with rapper Thanos before they joined the games. Within the games, Nam-gyu and Thanos stood out as two of the most vocal and aggressive characters in gaming. They used their voice and influence to try to force other characters to align with them and vote for the games to continue. This ruthless behavior helped them stay on top for a long time.

With so much at stake and a willingness to make difficult decisions, like closing the door on Mingle before time runs out, Myeong-gi has a survivor's instinct. Kim Jun-hee is a young pregnant woman whose weakened condition has left her in a difficult position during the games. Despite this, she managed to overcome and succeed in each test. While her pregnancy may affect her individual performance, it has also made other players like Hyun-ju, Geum-ja, and Myeong-gi more aware of their vulnerabilities.
