“I Need My Girl” by The National: For the second time in Shrinking Season 2, the Apple TV+ series uses a song performed by The National. The song “I Need A Girl” works both ways for Jimmy, as he finds himself wandering the streets, consumed by grief, self-loathing, regret, and bad decisions. He misses Alice after her recent decision to cut him out of her life, but he also misses Tia as Jimmy still has to deal with his wife's death.
