Netflix Olivia Rodrigo: GUTS world tour was filmed over the course of two sold-out tour dates in Los Angeles, California’s Intuit Dome, and, of course, came with some incredible costume changes. STOMACH is Rodrigo’s Grammy-nominated second album, which explores themes of heartbreak, new love, and the crushing weight of the new responsibilities of adulthood. Rodrigo’s style grew with her on tour in support of this album, which discusses more mature themes, as she continues to elevate women in music through her female and non-binary dancers and bands.
Your debut album SOUR I saw the singer wearing a plaid skirt and a y2k-infused pop-punk look, shortly after Rodrigo left High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. THE STOMACH it was drenched in glossy rock n’ roll glamour, marrying the singer’s rock aspirations with her pop star status. From sparkly two-piece sets to fishnet stockings and Doc Marten boots, Rodrigo’s eclectic style is a highlight of his successful concert film GUTS World Tour. A musician’s style is often inextricably linked to their musical eras, as can be seen particularly in the case of Taylor Swift. The Tour of the Ages.

Heather Picchiottino Red One Piece
Used during “Brutal”, “All-American B*tch” and “Obsessed”
This custom piece by costume designer Heather Picchiottino It’s a highlight of Rodrigo STOMACH closet. The bright red silhouette is the perfect potential transition into the singer’s next era and an excellent Ardent choice for delivery of two STOMACH’ more hard-hitting rock tracks – the feminist witty “all american b*tch” and “obsessed”.“This part of the show opens with the singer SOUR click on “brutal”. The piece was paired with personalized socks featuring Wolford stars (via Official).
“All-American b*tch” is named after Joan Didion The White Album (through Vulture). The singer has never shied away from criticizing patriarchal norms and conservative politics, and the wardrobe associated with this part of the show feels right for its lyrical content. During the song, Old music videos and news clippings featuring stories of American women are projected onto the screen.
The one-piece is also ideal for the more demanding dance routine at this point in the show, especially during the angst-filled “Obsessed.” Throughout the show, Rodrigo wears classic Doc Marten lace-up boots, made with comfortable soles for several hours of performance (via Dr.).

Custom Phantasy Tanks with Wolford Sparkly Briefs and Star Tights
Used during “Get Him Back” and Show Close
A registered trademark of STOMACH tour and a tribute to the style of Gwen Stefani’s first daughters, Rodrigo closes the show wearing a white Phantasy tank top with a custom printed slogan in this. The slogans typically have meanings for the cities she performs in, puns on her name, or current events she advocates for through her charity, Fund 4 Good (via OliviaRodrigo.com). The tank tops are paired with sparkly micro shorts and the same custom Wolford star-detailed socks as seen in other segments of the show. At this point in the show, Rodrigo uses an incredibly unique microphone inside a megaphone for a fun call-and-response moment with the crowd. Rabanne Mesh Slip Over Two-Piece Set Black
Used during the moon stage portion of the show
Rodrigo layers this Rabanne mesh dress over her two-piece shiny black bralette and micro shorts set by Wolford. The singer uses the combination during the STOMACH show in which she sings several of her most popular ballads while sitting on a crescent-shaped suspended stage. The moon stage rotates around the venue, allowing spectators of all levels to have a clear view from different points. The set opens with STOMACH track “logical”.
The mesh set and slip are paired with Capezio black fishnet tights. Throughout the show, Rodrigo wears a set of silver rings with the inscription “GUTS” on one hand, as seen on the album cover. On the other hand, she wears several vintage rings given to her by friends and family (via HQ). The brightness of the outfit is perfect for the moon stage part of the showmaking the singer highly visible at such a great height.
In GUTS World Tour, Rodrigo also wears this set during his duet with Chappell Roan. Roan, now a chart-topping pop artist herself, opened the first leg of Rodrigo’s album STOMACH tour, gaining new notoriety with her debut album The rise and fall of a Midwestern princess. Olivia Rodrigo’s grunge glitter was the perfect contrast to Roan’s bright pink butterfly minidress, which she paired with fishnet tights and high-heeled boots.

Swarovski crystal bralette and skirt from Michael Schmidt studios
Used during the open show, “Vampire”, “Teenage Dream” and more
Rodrigo opens the show with this bralette and skirt set from Michael Schmidt Studios. The shine and glamor of the set comes from Swarovski crystals and draws attention when Rodrigo opens the show with the energetic STOMACH track “bad idea, right?” The classic cut of the set dazzles when the singer takes to the piano for her hit single “Vampire” and also for her nostalgic “teenage dream”, accompanied by projections of childhood home videos.
As the promotional material for “Vampire” already featured a series of Dusk references (think Edward Cullen’s glowing skin in the sun), the silvery number’s watery movements capture the perfect light for the haunting rock ballad. Rodrigo’s crystalline on-stage number was sourced by his costume designer Picchiottino, and nods to his 2023 Ludovic de Saint Sernin VMA gown, also acquired from the high-end jeweler (via PEOPLE).
The looks shown in Olivia Rodrigo: GUTS world tour not only showcases the singer’s personal talent on stage, but also her evolution as an artist and woman. Since his debut, Rodrigo has won several Grammy Awards, and becoming an outspoken defender of women’s autonomy amid the overturn of Roe v. Wade. Wade in the USA in 2022. Rodrigo has a long career ahead of her after her brave lyrical choices continue to pay off, and she’s already working on new music (via Rolling Stone).
