Every Nuketown Model Easter Egg In Call Of Duty: Black Ops, Ranked

Nuketown is one of the best known Call to action maps, a chaotic playground of hand-to-hand combat and nostalgia. However, one of its most striking features are the Easter egg mannequins. From the original Black Ops in their later iterations, these inanimate figures became a canvas for developers to reward fast players.

Still, some Nuketown dummy Easter eggs are better than others. There are definitely some we would like to see again, but others felt like a waste of time. The Dummy Easter Egg is usually triggered by shooting the head of each dummy found on the mapnot including those that can be seen inside the school bus, although there are some variations from game to game.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

The worst of the worst

THE Call to action Black Ops Cold War The Nuketown Easter egg offers players an interesting way to play, but it’s not fun or very creative. The game offers players a synthesizer view, where the world is black with green, shadowed outlines to show the environment. Players unlock variations of the synth’s vision by dismembering mannequins: green by removing the heads and blue by removing the arms as well.

This Easter egg, unfortunately, feels lazy and unimaginative. Players spend some time removing the dummy’s limbs in anticipation of a rewarding Easter egg. The reward, however, is a visual filter that makes it harder to see. This sight is interesting for a few seconds and then it gets really irritating. It’s really difficult to play in this view and it’s almost as if the game is punishing players for discovering an Easter egg they loved.

It’s even worse when compared to other versions of this same Easter egg. Sure, this must have taken the team some time to come together, but it’s not a reward. It’s a change on the screen. It would be better if players could enable this feature on other maps or try playing this way in a full multiplayer match from the start, but instead is just a tease of what could have been an awesome Easter egg.

Call of Duty Black Ops

The original dummy Easter egg

The original Call of Duty Black Ops rewarded players with a song, “Sympathy for the Devil” by the Rolling Stones. This is a great song and This was a very creative way to reward players who were curious or perhaps just wanted to cause some destruction. This seemingly small reward sparked an Easter egg trend that continues across multiple Call to action games. It’s small, but many players will remember the first time they ripped off mannequin heads in the original games.

It’s true that the previous entry gave the game a change, but hearing amazing music while you play is great. The Rolling Stones are a great band, and the music adds a more intense atmosphere to the game. Many gamers use headphones to get the same experience. It’s like a theme song for players to listen to while playing.

Getting a song after dummy is much more rewarding than the previous entry. Putting colors on the screen seems to be more of a hindrance than giving players something to have while they play. There were many problems with Black Ops Cold Warbut the easter egg dummy is a great example of how a more interesting version of an experience doesn’t always make it better. Therefore, although a song is simple, it at least gives players a better experience.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6

Nuketown’s latest Easter egg

THE Call to action: Black Ops 6 Nukeotwn’s Easter egg is basically multiples in one. Players have one minute and thirty seconds to rip the mannequins’ heads off; If successful, the screen will display a “Signal lost, please wait“message. So, Dummy zombies will start coming from the ground and other areas to attack the player. There will also be a live audience of mannequins outside the boundaries of the map watching the players.

This is much easier to do with friends in a private match, and much more fun to play in a group.

The Easter egg model was only introduced shortly after the release of Black Ops 6Season 1 update. The game launched without the Nuketown map, but a few weeks later, the map arrived, and later, an Easter egg. The Easter egg doesn’t look very imaginative; it’s just the addition of an audience and then normal zombies.

No one expected the developers to add a bunch of new stuff just for an Easter egg, but by now, most players know something will happen when the heads are ripped off, so something bigger would have been appreciated. There are many better Easter eggs elsewhere Call of Duty Black Ops games, so this is near the end.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4

It’s raining zombies

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 requires players to knock off mannequins’ heads within one minute and thirty seconds. Once this is done, a nuclear bomb will come out of the ground and be launched into the sky. It explodes in the sky and what appears to be an ether portal opens. Then, dummies fall for the player to destroy. It’s an interesting twist on Easter eggs.

It’s an awesome twist on a well-known Easter egg, and it’s great that the dummies fall from the sky nonstop until the player dies or the game ends. It’s like starting a whole new mode that should have been brought back in other editions. There was so much potential herebut the developers never brought it back, which is sad. This was incredibly creative and probably took a lot of effort to implement.

This, among others, should have been brought back Black Ops 6. This would have been a great way for the game to pay homage to all the previous Easter eggs. Still, maybe it will appear in the future Call to action installments. Black Ops 4The Easter egg version scores some points for pure surprise; a portal launching mannequins from the sky is a great twist for players already expecting something.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2

A blast from the past

In Call of Duty: Black Ops 2Players need to rip the mannequins’ heads off in one minute and thirty seconds. This one is awesome because instead of limiting the Easter egg to the game, the Nuketown board becomes an arcade that plays old Activision games. Players can scroll and play Trap, HERO, Attack on Rioand Kaboom. This should be something every publisher does from time to time, because playing older games is always a lot of fun.

It’s a really refreshing experience, even if you expect it. Even if it’s part of an old Call to action game, this Easter egg makes the game much easier to come back to. Even gamers who are too young to remember these games can enjoy them because they are being introduced to the history of gaming and can see how games have developed over time.

This ranks second because it takes players out of Call to action experience. Technically, this is not a Black Ops Easter egg, but from Activision. So, to be fair, the Easter egg that gives players the most reason to follow Black Ops must be the one who takes home the victory. However, this Easter egg is second on this list and is worth a try if anyone hasn’t already.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3

Angels and zombies crying

To get the Nuketown Easter egg Call of Duty: Black Ops 3players need to rip the heads off the mannequins in less than two minutes. This is much longer than other games in the series and was preferable because the one minute and thirty second time limit is very quick. It’s much calmer and ensures everyone has a chance to enjoy the Easter egg. If the player takes out only the heads, he gets zombies, but if the arms are taken away they will have angels crying.

This was the first mannequin Easter egg to feature mannequins as zombies and crying angels. It’s also arguably the most memorable. It is well known in the community and is the favorite of most players. So it’s hard not to make this your number one choice.

There are few Easter eggs as powerful as the Nuketown Easter egg, and every time this map comes to the game, players will inevitably try to shoot the dummies’ heads in a short period of time. Overall, the Easter eggs provide a fun change to each map and give players something new to do that isn’t just eliminating enemies. While just Black Ops gives the reward, became synonymous with Call to action like a franchise.
