Daredevil: Born Again It will be the final stage of Charlie Cox’s integration into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and could open up his character’s possibilities for future teams. Since its debut on Netflix RecklessCharlie Cox quickly established himself as one of the greatest superhero casts of all time, delivering a strong enough performance as the Man Without Fear to be worth moving to the MCU. Now the next series Daredevil: Born Again we got to see him finally interact with the MCU heroes on a more substantial level.
Matt Murdock has had a variety of cameos in other Marvel projects, including She-Hulk: Lawyer, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Echo. While these appearances are a welcome teaser for dedicated fans of the Netflix original show, her time in the spotlight on Daredevil: Born Again should make him more eligible for future notable teams. It will be interesting to see how Charlie Cox brilliantly performs as Matt Murdock shares the screen with other beloved MCU heroes.

Spider-Man
Daredevil’s fellow defender on the streets of New York
In the comics, one of Daredevil’s most recurring allies is none other than his fellow New York City vigilante hero, Spider-Man. With similar morals and power sets and even sharing some notable villains like Kingpin, it’s no wonder Daredevil and Spider-Man are commonly depicted as getting along so well. It would be an undeniable thrill to finally see the MCU versions of both characters teaming up against a common enemy.
Matt Murdock and Peter Parker already canonically crossed paths once in Spider-Man: No way home, with Matt giving Peter valuable legal advice following the revelation of his secret identity. That film ends with Peter Parker’s reputation being reset, forcing him to start from scratch as a street-level hero once again. This would be a great way to have him cross paths with Daredevil, who has a good chance of appearing in the cast of Spider-Man 4 thanks to the story of the two heroes.

Dead Pool
Could provide an interesting contrast to Daredevil
Aside from a penchant for red suits and some impressive martial arts skills, there’s initially not much that should bring Daredevil and Deadpool together in the MCU. However, there is some comedic precedence for a team-up between the two, with Deadpool tagging along to join forces with the Hell’s Kitchen hero, much to Matt Murdock’s chagrin. Upon closer examination, Deadpool and Daredevil actually have a lot in common as MCU latecomers who jumped over from pre-existing properties.
One of the most exciting things about Deadpool and Daredevil’s team-up would be the incredible banter that would flow between the two. As a blind Catholic pacifist lawyer superhero who dresses as a devil, Daredevil’s self-contradictory existence would provide the sarcastic Deadpool with endless hilarious comedic material. Thanks to Charlie Cox’s dry comedy, Daredevil may have a chance to be one of the few characters in the MCU who could actually match Deadpool’s humor individually.
8
She-Hulk
The two could continue their blossoming romance
One of the few strictly MCU heroes with the honor of crossing paths with the costumed Daredevil is none other than She-Hulk. Although the two started off with a rocky relationship thanks to their messy fight while on duty, the pair soon led to a quick and fierce romance that even led to Matt Murdock meeting Jen Walters’ family while out of costume. As far as the public knows, Daredevil and She-Hulk are still romantically involved, albeit at a distance.
It will be fascinating to see if the two officially become the MCU’s most wholesome crime-fighting power couple by continuing their romance in the franchise’s next installments. Historically, Matt Murdock hasn’t had a great relationship history in both the comics and the MCU, with tumultuous affairs with Elektra and Karen Page ending in heartbreak or worse. Regardless of their relationship status, it would be intriguing to see Daredevil and She-Hulk actually working together in the field rather than trying to destroy each other.
7
Moon Knight
Could help Daredevil form the MCU’s Marvel Knights
A newcomer to the Marvel Cinematic Universe who has yet to interact with anyone outside of his narrow sphere of influence is none other than Moon Knight. In the comics, Moon Knight and Daredevil crossed paths more than once, forming a team of superheroes known as the Marvel Knights. This short-lived team-up saw many conflicts occur between Daredevil and Moon Knight, creating an icy dynamic that provided plenty of intriguing superhero drama.
In some ways, Moon Knight and Daredevil are quite similar, both tortured heroes living with a unique condition that affects them in their private civilian lives. However, they have some truly diametrically opposed moral beliefs, with Daredevil’s strict code of ethics that prevents him from killing under any circumstances clashing heavily with Moon Knight’s position as a lethal vigilante. It would be interesting to see this ideological divide manifest itself in a Marvel Knights MCU project that puts the two in the same cast.
6
The Punisher
Has very good on-screen chemistry with Daredevil
Speaking of heroes who have no qualms about killing, The Punisher is the archetypal murderous antihero of the Marvel Universe who appeared on Netflix Reckless continuity. Played brilliantly by Jon Bernthal, Frank Castle appears in Reckless only to later get his own solo spin-off series. Daredevil and the Punisher’s dynamic as enemies and reluctant allies is one of the strongest arcs in the entire original show, thanks in large part to Bernthal’s thoughtful approach to Frank Castle’s damaged psyche.
Thanks to Kingpin’s flashbacks, Echo has seemingly confirmed the Netflix shows as canon, meaning another appearance by Jon Bernthal’s Punisher could be on the cards for the MCU. It would be incredible to see Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal’s incredible chemistry take over the screen once again. Considering everything each character has been through since they last crossed paths, the two would probably have a lot to talk about since their last tense conversation, especially with Frank leaning more into his violent nature towards the end of his own series.
5
Luke Cage
Provides a fascinating contrast to Matt Murdock
Another Netflix continuity hero with a high chance of returning to the MCU, Luke Cage presents another possible team of heroes for Daredevil brimming with potential. In the crossover show The Defenders, Luke Cage and Daredevil actually met during their brief stint on the same superhero team alongside Jessica Jones and Iron Fist. Of the four, Cage and Daredevil have the strongest personalities, making them the two biggest candidates to join forces once again in an official MCU capacity.
Luke Cage and Daredevil had a somewhat rocky relationship upon their first meeting, thanks to Daredevil’s initial refusal to reveal his identity, not to mention the fact that so many people in Cage’s life asked why he couldn’t use his powers more like the Demolitionist. before your meeting. The last time Luke Cage heard from Daredevil, he was dead, meaning a reunion between the two would be a fascinating prospect. Daredevil also probably wouldn’t approve of Cage’s new status as a crime boss, which could ratchet up the tension even further.
4
Jessica Jones
Another defender who could catch up to Daredevil
Jessica Jones is another Netflix hero who has yet to return to the MCU since the franchise’s integration into the larger series. In the comics, Jessica Jones and Daredevil are quite close as members of the Defenders, even though in the series they interact perhaps the least of any pair of the four. All the more reason for the two to join forces again on some new adventure in New York City.
At the end of Jessica Jones, Jessica decides to stay in New York, returning to her life as a private investigator at her own company, Alias Investigations. This puts her very close to Daredevil, who is still very active in the MCU’s most superhero-dense city. It would be easy to see Daredevil seeking Jessica Jones’ help for an investigation into some delicate mission that requires stealth and a trusted ally, although Jones, like Luke Cage, would probably be surprised to learn that Daredevil is still alive.
3
Yelena
Works as a suitable replacement for Black Widow
In the comics, one of Daredevil’s biggest love interests is none other than Natasha Romanoff, the femme fatale Black Widow. The two spent a brief period working together while in a relationship in San Francisco, only for Black Widow to quit the superhero team and romance when she felt herself becoming a sidekick. Still, their romance is commonly referenced in many other incarnations of the characters, including the original Wonder 1602 comic run.
Considering Black Widow has passed away in the current MCU continuity, her surviving “sister” and fellow Black Widow show veteran Yelena Belova would be a great choice. Yelena clashed with other street heroes in the Kingpin’s sphere of influence before in Hawkeye, so she would feel perfectly suited to an MCU Daredevil crossover. The two could even spark a unique romance, should She-Hulk and Daredevil’s courtroom puppy love fade off-screen, as the MCU often does with its romances.
2
Shang-Chi
Has a lot in common with Matt Murdock
While Iron Fist of Netflix fame might seem like a more obvious choice for a kung fu-centric team-up in Daredevil’s future, the MCU has a new, more exciting representative for the world of martial arts in Shang-Chi. Shang-Chi and Daredevil have teamed up countless times in the comics, due to their similar personalities and shared history of undergoing cruel training at such a young age. Shang-Chi desperately needs another appearance in the MCU, and a collaboration with Daredevil could be the perfect opportunity.
Since Shang-Chi is currently based in San Francisco, Daredevil could move there, just as he does in the comics, should a climactic event occur in San Francisco. Daredevil: Born Again lead him to leave his hometown. Considering Shang-Chi and Daredevil are two of the MCU’s greatest martial artists, it would be a treat to see them train before pulling off some high-flying combo attacks against a common foe. It would be very easy to find a perfect villain that would fit into both characters’ stories, thanks to their Eastern roots.
1
Echo
Need a rematch with Daredevil
Echo is the second of the MCU’s main characters to face Daredevil in the field, being a former right-hand man of the Kingpin, Daredevil’s archenemy. Considered the only person in the Kingpin’s organization who could even remotely defend herself against the Man Without Fear, Maya has been on quite a journey since her last encounter with Daredevil. Finally escaping Kingpin’s influence and attempting to heal him from his deep trauma, Maya officially became Echo, turning over a new leaf as a genuine hero.
It would be remarkable to see Echo and Daredevil meet again, this time on the same side against the Kingpin’s criminal empire. As allies, Daredevil and Echo would likely have a lot to talk about, with both living with sensory losses while juggling a superhero career. If there’s a hero who deserves to share the screen with Daredevil again in the MCU next Daredevil: Born AgainIt’s Eco.
