Fletcher’s cause of death is somewhat unclear. Bad Boys: Ride or Die. It is unclear whether McGrath knows who Fletcher is or his connection to Howard. That’s why McGrath shoots Fletcher in the head, killing him instantly.. As a result, Mike and Marcus have to deal with the rest of his armed followers, unaware that Fletcher knew about Howard’s investigation into the Miami police and the cartels.

Although McGrath managed to kill Fletcher and briefly thwart Mike and Marcus’ investigation, they still obtained the information they needed through a QR code included in one of Fletcher’s works. This leads to Manny’s body caught fireand it continues to burn as Marcus, Mike and Armando drive away.

Instead of Manny becoming a minor character who may continue to appear in the future. Bad boys films, his role in the franchise ends after two appearances. A very clear death scene leaves no way for him to come back in an unexpected twist. He ultimately dies due to his own ambition and greed.

However, Bad Boys: Ride or Die reveals that he is a mole who has been informing the cartel about the activities and plans of the government and police for many years. Lockwood plays his role in Bad Boys: Ride or Dieends, but the plan goes awry when Mike doesn’t shoot McGrath. This leaves Lockwood alone in the middle of the firefight, and he takes the resulting chaos as an opportunity to try to escape. This doesn’t end well for him as he hijacks a plane and crashes it into Gatorville. Lockwood survives the plane crash, but Rita finds him when he tries to escape again. James McGrath

Killed by Mike Lowry

Being the main villain Bad Boys: Ride or DieJames McGrath’s death was always expected. A former DEA agent became a cartel ally, and a smuggler helped orchestrate the death of Captain Howard in Bad boys for lifeas shown in the Part 4 retcon. Howard was aware of McGrath’s affairs and was close to uncovering the corruption that he and Lockwood were responsible for spreading throughout Miami, making him a target. Mike and Marcus, being two of Howard’s closest allies, made them targets back then in Bad Boys 4and Armando had seen him once before.

Connected

Most of the film’s runtime sees McGrath pitted against Mike, Marcus, and Armando, all of which culminate in Gatorville. However, the decisive battle takes place between Mike and McGrath. At this point, the villain has taken Mike’s wife, Christina, hostage, and also captures Marcus on the beach. McGrath thinks he has put Mike in a no-win situation where he will have to choose whether Marcus or Christina dies. However, Mike shoots Marcus in the vest so he can get a clear shot at McGrath.

Having shot the villain several times in the chest, Mike kills McGrath with a bullet to the head. He then falls back into the ocean and his body is then discovered by law enforcement. This continues the franchise’s trend of having the main villain die at the end of the film, just like any other main villain. Bad boys the antagonist also did not live to see the credits.

1

Sanchez and Ruiz

Died off-screen after Bad Boys 2

In addition to the deaths of the main characters that occur on screen in Bad Boys: Ride or DieThe film also confirms two other significant deaths. The original featured former Miami police detectives Sanchez and Ruiz. Bad boys as Mike and Marcus’s older rivals, but by the time they had retired, Bad Boys 2 happened. They were also left behind Bad boys for lifeAnd Bad Boys 4 explains that this is because they both died between the second and third parts.

Captain Howard confirms this amazing discovery during one of his video messages to Mike and Marcus. At one point, he needed help with the investigation and called on Sanchez and Ruiz to come out of retirement and work secretly on the case. However, they died in a car accident a week after Howard returned them to police work. It is unclear whether the car accident that killed Sanchez and Ruiz was a true accident or a deliberate event caused by the cartel, as the two began to become too close during the investigative work.

Confirmation that Sanchez and Ruiz were killed off-screen earlier Bad Boys: Ride or Die has two ultimate goals. It further tied Howard’s investigation into the franchise by including additional well-known characters and tying up loose ends about what happened to them. Knowing that Sanchez and Ruiz returned to work only to end in their deaths is a tragic revelation as they could have had a happier ending otherwise. But to a certain extent it reflects real life, as Ruiz’s actor Julio Oscar Mechoso died in 2017, several years earlier. Bad Boys: Ride or Die confirmed the fate of his character.
