It may seem like Louis Partridge
Emerged on the acting scene to play the love interest in Enola Holmes On Netflix seemingly out of nowhere, but that’s not the case. The actor has been working steadily since 2014 with supporting roles in television, movies and short films. He has a surprisingly good experience for a decade in the industry with most of his work revolving around roles as a teenager so far.
Partridge has had a lot of back-to-back projects since landing his role as Tewkesbury in Enola HolmesAnd he’s continuing to book future projects as well. Lined up for the actor is the AppleTV+ series DenialThe TV series House of Guineaand a movie with writer/director Noah Baumbach. Until the release of these projects, these are the movies and TV shows in which he has appeared.

Boomers (2014)
Like Alpha
Boomers is his first credited professional role.
Boomers Only lasted for two seasons in the UK. The sitcom focused on the lives of three couples who are all late middle-aged and either retired or nearing retirement. Because the characters are the focus, younger generations don’t get a huge presence in the series.
Although Partridge also participated in short films around the same time, Boomers is his first credited professional role. Partridge only appeared in a single episode of the series as a little boy named Alf. Alf goes with family to a retirement party and spends most of the episode playing on a phone and not recognizing the people around him.
It’s likely a relatively simple role for a young person just starting out in the industry. It may not have been groundbreaking, but it definitely got Partridge a foot in the professional door.

The Lost Girls
Like Peter Pan (2022)
like Peter Pan Entering the public domain, there were many new stories featuring the main Lost Boy and his associated characters. The Lost Girls is just one of many, and it can get lost in the shuffle. It is inspired by a novel of the same name with the aim of exploring how Wendy Darling and the other young girls in her family all experience their time with Peter Pan.
Although Patridge is charming in the role of Pan, his charm is not enough to save the movieWhich is why it was lambasted by audience members and critics. Critics cite cheap CGI in the scenes in Neverland and a lack of chemistry between most of the older cast of Elevated the story. It’s also a very uneven coming-of-age story for little girls, because the movie doesn’t seem like it wants to remind the audience of the innocence of childhood or the danger of sexual predators for young women with its very awkward Captain Hawk scenes.
Partridge was a great choice to play Peter Pan, so it’s a shame the project wasn’t better.

Not many actors have the opportunity to appear in multiple projects inspired by Peter Pan. Partridge’s role in Pan is actually uncredited, although this is true for a lot of young people who appear in large ensemble scenes. He’s like one of the kid minors in the movie, and fans would probably have to work hard to pick him up.
This version of Peter Pan’s story provides a new beginning for the child who never grows up. Here, he is an orphan in England, who ends up kidnapped by pirates. The pirates are from Neverland and they force kidnapped children to mine crystallized pixie dust for them.
The movie was not well-received by criticsAlthough it has a solid cast with Hugh Jackman, Gareth Hedlund and Levi Miller. The main criticism was the casting of a white woman to play a character inspired by an indigenous American as well as the chaotic nature of the new story.

Amazon Adventure (2017)
Like young Henry Bates
Amazon adventure is not a full-length feature film. Instead, it’s A 45-minute docudrama about explorer Henry Bates. Bates spent 11 years traveling through the Amazon rainforest, meeting native inhabitants, and learning about the culture and wildlife.
Partridge doesn’t have a huge role here, which is true of many of his early projects, however He is like the younger version of the characterProvide a glimpse of who the person will become. The docudrama is used in educational institutions to teach children about camouflage among animals in the Amazon. It is also distributed to IMAX theaters and museums.
While it may not be the most earth-shattering of Patridge’s roles, it probably played a part in getting a lot of younger kids interested in science and possibly even conservation.

Argyll follows a novelist (Bryce Dallas Howard) whose spy novels seem to predict real-world events. When she is attacked and saved by a real spy, they have to decide exactly how to stop the organization that is targeting her. Aubrey Argylle is the spy in the novels she writes. While the character was actually played by Henry Cavill in the movie, Partridge plays the younger version of the character.
It’s not a huge showcase of Partridge’s talents since he appears in a single scene during the credits that helps connect the movie to The Kingman Franchise. It’s a fun nod to fans, but not much more than that. If Partridge gets the chance to play the character again, there could be more payoff for fans, but that’s unlikely since Argyll received such negative reviews from critics.

Pistol (2022)
Like Sid Vicious
Pistol is a British miniseries about the rise of the Sex Pistols gang. Partridge appeared in the series as band member Sid Vicious. While fans may have found the series fascinating, it wasn’t exactly welcomed by members of the band.
Sex Pistols member John Lyndon disavowed the series, recounted The Guardian:
It is death against everything we once stood for. The only thing you have of value in your life, and you’re going to be cheap because you want an extra five? It is not a person.
Other band members are willing to consult about the series and allow actors to talk to them about their experiences. So much opposition to the show before it even aired probably led to people looking at it through a more critical lens. Although many of the performances, such as Thomas Brodie-Sangster’s, were praised, it largely received mixed reviews from critics.

The series didn’t become a great vehicle to open doors to starring roles for Partridge, but it did show some of his versatility as an actor.

Medici (2019)
Like Piero de Medici
Medici Ranks so high among Partridge’s roles because the series is such a beloved historical drama. Partridge, however, like so many of his roles, plays a supporting role here. He is only in a handful of episodes of season three as the son of main character Lorenzo (Daniel Sharman).
The focus is on Lorenzo’s desire to remain the head of the family and to make sure that his extended family cannot take his power from him. In fact, Piero was raised alongside his younger brother and cousin, who both went on to become popes, but he did not. He often stood with his cousins and although he was expected to take over as the head of the family after his father, he was not. Adapted. He ruled Florence after his father’s death but was eventually exiled. The show didn’t quite go long enough to explore his story.

Critics would agree that Paddington 2 is probably the best movie in Partridge’s acting history. The Paddington The franchise as a whole has found that rare sweet spot for a family film that has emotional resonance and near-universal appeal. In this installment, Paddington is accused and convicted of a robbery he did not commit. While his family tries to prove his innocence, he spends time in prison.
It’s a delightful movie, and the only reason it’s not Partridge’s best is because his role in the movie is limited.. He is the leader of the group of cool kids at school, but his character doesn’t get much to do other than try to entice other kids to join his group. This is understandable since the focus is on Paddington’s own predicament.
Partridge’s best movie yet sees him in a supporting role, but it’s a much more expanded role.

Enola Holmes was a breath of fresh air on Netflix in 2020, and it wasn’t long before the second movie was greenlit. Almost the entire main cast of the first movie reprized their roles, including Partridge as Tewkesbury.
In this chapter of Netflix’s budding franchise, Enola is hired to find a missing young woman by her younger sister. It embraces you in the world of the match girls. While she investigates in London, she repeatedly crosses paths with Tewkesbury, the young man whose life she saved in the first movie.
Although the first movie is arguably better than the second, Partridge’s performance in the second movie is even better than the first. He shines in the chemistry he has with Millie Bobby Brown in their scenes together, teaching Enola to dance and social etiquette in high society. The teasing of the two as love interests is also paid off as Enola solves her mystery. The two finally admit their feelings for one another, making fans even more interested in seeing Louis Partridge In a potential Enola Holmes 3.
