Freddy Fazbear

Freddy Fazbear is the most iconic member of Five Nights at Freddy's animatronic cast, with the titular pizza mascot being the face of the franchise. Freddy is the mascot of the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place restaurant chain and the lead singer of the animatronic band. Like the other animatronics, however, Freddy leaves his post and kills people at night, with much of his history shrouded in mystery.

In the canon of Five Nights at Freddy's cinematic universe, Freddy is under the control of the villain William Afton, and he kills victims at night on Afton's orders. It is later revealed that Freddy is possessed by the spirit of one of the children William Afton murdered, with the animatronic befriending Abby and turning against Afton at the end of the film. Although Freddy initially starts out hostile to the security guard, Mike Schmidthis friendship with Abby transforms him, causing him and the other animatronics to side with them.

Foxy is the most seen animatronic in the world Five Nights at Freddy's film, with him often confronting the night guards and other people who enter the pizzeria at night. The Ghost Child that inhabits Foxy's body is the red-haired child that appears in the film, and the child also stands out for carrying a cardboard hook hand. Foxy is also the one who drags William Afton after his springlock suit activates, presumably leading to his death.

In the animatronic band at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place, Bonnie is the guitarist, with a red bow tie as her main piece of clothing. Bonnie can be seen with his electric guitar during the day while performing with the band, but he hides it during his more nefarious activities that occur after hours.

Like the other mascots, Bonnie becomes a killer after hours. Bonnie is one of the deadliest animatronics, with her killing style often involving her hiding in rooms and waiting for unsuspecting victims to enter. Bonnie's size is also a big advantage for him, being much bulkier than animatronics like Foxy. This reflects the Ghost Child who possesses the costume, being the tall boy with black hair. Like the other animatronics, Bonnie befriends Abby at the end of the film and turns against William Afton.

Golden Freddy

Golden Freddy is known for being one of the scariest and most mysterious animatronics in the world. Five Nights at Freddy's video game series, with his rare appearance as a seemingly extinct costume in the original video game being one of the most memorable parts. Although Golden Freddy shares many design features with Freddy Fazbear, the two are distinct characters. However, Golden Freddy appears to have no place at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place during the daynot being seen during normal restaurant opening hours.

Golden Freddy is also possessed by a Ghost Child, with the blonde-haired boy being William Afton's victim who possesses the costume. Golden Freddy is much more powerful than the other animatronics, being able to leave the pizzeria. This is why Golden Freddy is able to show up at Abby's house and kill her aunt, something the other animatronics wouldn't be able to do. Golden Freddy appears to be the one behind Mike's dreams about Afton's victims, with him being the catalyst for the union of the two sides.

Although similar to Cupcake's appearance in the first game, the dessert-themed robot does not affect gameplay, while Mr. Cupcake plays an important role in the Five Nights at Freddy's film.

In the canon of Five Nights at Freddy's film, It is not explained whether Cupcake is possessed by the spirit of one of William Afton's child victims.with the animatronic potentially being used by the same Ghost Child that inhabits Chica's costume. Although the animatronic's design does not allow it to be very mobile, Cupcake can operate independently of Chica. However, it is commonly accepted that Spring Bonnie and Springtrap are the same characters, with Springtrap simply being a worn-out version of the Spring Bonnie costume. The Spring Bonnie costume is not seen operating at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place in Five Nights at Freddy's film, but it still plays a big role in the film's climax.

Serial killer William Afton is the main antagonist of Five Nights at Freddy's filmbeing the one who killed the children who now haunt the pizzeria. Sometimes called the Yellow Rabbit, William Afton uses the Springtrap costume to lure children away from the pizzeria, and he kills them. William Afton appears in a suit in the film's climax, although this is a mistake. The animatronics manage to activate the springlocks, with them impaling Afton and allowing them to drag him away.

However, it has been theorized that Mike's brother could be Balloon Boy, making this a fun way to tie the story together. This post-credits scene could suggest that Balloon Boy will play a larger role in the sequel's story, with the first Five Nights at Freddy's film that presents him as a terrifying new threat.

Which animatronic could be in a sequel?
