The latest edition of the popular Zombies game mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 brought players back to the glory days of the subseries. After a few years of bizarre experiments like open world War zone-style of play, Treyarch went back to the original formula – round-based Zombies. The two launch maps, Liberty Falls and Terminus, showcased the best parts of modern zombies with a relentless and fun experience, and the increasing intensity is demonstrated in the variety of enemies to face in Black Ops 6.
Like many other Zombies maps from the past, Black Ops 6The Zombies version features enemies that are consistent across both maps, but also includes unique enemies specific to individual maps. Examples of these individual enemy types include the Astronaut Zombie from Moon, or the Ascension Space Monkeys. To prepare to tackle Easter Egg main quests or reach high rounds, players must be aware of the types of enemies that will be part of the undead horde. This will help you make the necessary plans to prepare for the challenges Black Ops 6.

Zombies
The easiest enemy to deal with
Despite being the mode’s namesake, the standard zombie enemy is comfortably the easiest to deal with Black Ops 6. They are essentially player fodder for the first few rounds and shouldn’t cause much trouble, even for Black Ops 6 beginners. They will only require a few shots or melee hits to take down individually and are limited in their damage output.
They primarily deal damage in melee combat, but have been observed throwing parts of their own bodies at the player as a long-range move. This becomes evident in Terminus if players use the jet boat for too long. However, they should not be underestimated. The more the undead crowd grows as the rounds progress, the more of a challenge the zombies will become.
The swarm will eventually become unbearable due to the sheer volume of anomalies, so it is important to avoid getting trapped in tight spaces. Eventually it will be impossible to escape the hundreds of zombies. Despite this, the zombies can be controlled as long as the player’s weaponry continues to be upgraded through the Arsenal. This machine’s Ammo Mods will greatly help with the game’s longevity.

Armored Zombies
An updated version of the Undead
Armored zombies are very similar to their standard compatriots, but they have some upgrades, which make them a little better. They are armored with damage-resistant clothing such as helmets and bulletproof vests. This will require many more shots to take down due to this additional protection and require the player to aim for weak areas for maximum effect. Once the armor is destroyed, they will become normal zombies.
Other than the armor, they act and attack identically to standard zombies, so they’re a little harder to take down. They will become more common as the rounds progress, and in later rounds their bullet absorption will benefit them. At this point, they can disrupt the player’s “train” (or queue of zombies to be killed), but this is more inconvenient than outright difficult.
5
Worms
They are fast and can even crawl on walls
A round of maximum ammo is part of most Zombies maps, and in Black Ops 6 When launching maps, the player must eliminate waves of insects in exchange for a bullet resupply. In Liberty Falls, the arachnid creatures known as Vermin take on this role. These grotesque spider-like enemies benefit from a great level of speed.
Not only can Vermin easily keep up with a running player, but they can even crawl along or climb walls quickly, meaning players must always be vigilant for ground and air attacks. The Vermin will also appear outside of Max Ammo rounds, occasionally popping out of a defeated zombie corpse.
Despite the Vermins’ agility, their attacks are generally not that powerful and can be eliminated quickly with upgraded weaponry. In particular, Vermin are vulnerable to the Cryofreeze ammo modwhich means they can be handled with relative ease when this correct equipment is used.

Parasite
Flying insects that attack with acidic bile
Parasites are Terminus’ equivalent of the worms in Liberty Falls. These will be familiar to Black Ops 3 Fans of zombies, as they were prominent in the Shadows of Evil and Revelations maps. Your return in Black Ops 6 sees them become part of Max Ammo rounds, meaning players will have to face waves of them at once.
They are flying insects and attacking players with acidic bile that damages and impairs visibility, which disorients players as the persistent swarms attack. This is devastating in high rounds as Terminus has low levels of visibility. Parasites are a little harder to kill than worms, as they are literal evolutions of their arachnid counterparts.
If the player does not kill the pursuing Worm for too long, the Parasite will explode from the spider’s abdomen. The Parasites’ movement is more unpredictable as they move forward and shoot through the air, which means their shots have to be especially precise. However, it doesn’t take many shots to defeat them, and they inherit the Cryofreeze weakness from their ancestors. They are annoying but not devastating.

Amalgam
This type of elite zombie chases the player at high speed
The enemies onwards will pose a real threat to the player if they are unequipped and unprepared. Amalgams are an elite type of zombie that will only appear in Terminus from round 16 onwards. They are grotesque creatures, formed by a horrible fusion of zombie limbs, heads and other parts.
They deal devastating damage up close, but its tendril-grabbing movement is especially powerful. This will bring the player towards the Amalgam, damaging the player when approached. Amalgams will chase at high speeds, meaning they are a persistent threat. Firing blindly is not enough to effectively take down an Amalgam, a process that requires proper strategy.
This is what makes Amalgam more difficult than previous enemies. Focusing on the creatures’ glowing eyes will do the most damage, as body shots are mostly ineffective. Any tactical upgrades or abilities that stun or slow Amalgam are also useful. However, the biggest weakness they have is the Dead Wire and Shadow Rift ammo modstherefore, it is necessary to equip any of them in the Arsenal for any high round attempts at Terminus.
2
Mangler
Their weaponry and infinite frequency make them extremely dangerous
Manglers are more lethal than Amalgams on both maps. Black Ops 6 due to its weaponry and endless frequency. They are large zombie creatures equipped with a cannon arm augmented with Aetherium, one of the most powerful elements in Zombie lore. These cannons will expel explosive energy projectiles, which will destroy everything in their path, including vehicles.
Their close-range melee attack will also take away a large portion of health or armor, and they will aggressively charge or attack the player. His powerful kit is impressive, especially when several appear simultaneously. As Manglers appear frequently as the rounds progress, knowing how to deal with them is crucial to survival.
They are heavily armored and destroying this protective layer will reveal weak points that must be focused on. This is not an easy task, however, unless the player has access to upgraded weapons or Wonder Weapons. As armor depletes, Manglers will become increasingly aggressive and quickly attack the player. The easiest way to effectively reduce your health is by using the Napalm Burst Ammo Modon an upgraded weapon with Pack-a-Punch.
1
Abomination
This one combines the best features of the previous creatures
The most dangerous and difficult enemy in Black Ops 6 is the Abomination in Liberty Falls. This creature resembles the Margwa in Black Ops 3; a three-headed zombie creature that will devastate any player. It is an incredibly aggressive monster that combines all the best features of previous creatures in Black Ops 6 into a powerful creation.
The Abomination can deal a massive amount of damage both at close range and through ranged attacks. Its two most lethal attacks are the charge move and the beam attack. In some scenarios, the Abomination will lock on and attack hard, which will take away a large portion of the player’s health and also temporarily stun them. When the player is stunned, the entire HUD will be removed, causing additional disorientation. As a ranged attack, the Abomination emits an electrical beam that vaporizes health in seconds.
The Abomination’s agile and aggressive attacks make it the biggest threat to players, besides just bosses. To defeat them, players must aim for glowing weak spots while using Brain Rot and Napalm Burst Ammo mods for maximum effect. These updates are essential for those aiming for high rounds in Liberty Falls, as the Abomination will only prove to be a greater challenge. As it is the most dangerous and difficult enemy to defeat in Call to action: Black Ops 6 Zombies, it pays to be careful with the Abomination.
