Every card in every deck

Disney LorcanaDisney’s popular trading card game (TCG) that puts players in the role of Illuminators with the power of magical inks, has several starter decks available to help people start their gaming career on the right foot. The game’s debut set, The first chapterreleased three of the pre-made starter decks in Summer 2023. With each additional expansion set added to the game, two more starter decks join the ranks. Additionally, for players interested in learning Disney Lorcanaone Disney Lorcana Portal set is available for the express purpose of teaching and learning the game.

Disney Lorcana each card has types based on the origin of the character depicted and their role in the story – they are varied but include descriptors such as Storyborn, Princess, Ally and so on. They are also divided into six color-coded categories known as tints: Emerald, Ruby, Steel, Sapphire, Amber, and Amethyst. Each paint leans towards specific strategies and decks cannot consist of more than two paints. While many may scoff at the strength of a pre-made deck in play, each starter deck is surprisingly effective and well balanced not only against each other, but can often hold its own against custom decks.

The Emerald and Ruby starting deck for Disney Lorcana: the first chapter It is good for players who like to focus more on aggressive games. Ruby-inked cards often encourage many challenging opponents and taking an energetic approachgiving the player many options to divert the opponent from the path. Emerald ink cards are much more flexible, which in this case provides the means necessary to gather Knowledge during the game.

Steel represents powerful characters who can hit hard, defend firmly, and bring home tons of knowledge, while Sapphire represents tactics and careful planning. The first set of chapters

Amber and Amethyst in Disney Lorcana can provide a good defensive deck and is ideal for beginners to the game, as Amber ink focuses on support cards while Amethyst is all about magic. Cards in these paints are generally a little more straightforward than some others and are good for collecting Knowledge while also protecting against opponent attacks. This can be an extremely frustrating strategy for the player’s opponent Amber and Amethyst. Many cards in this deck are quite weak on their own, which means the opponent can easily counterattack if they have more powerful Character cards, especially in the late game.

Rise of the Floodborn Set

To Disney Lorcanasecond set, two new Rise of the Floodborn Starter decks have been released, but these decks don’t just consist of cards from the new set. Both starting decks include some The first chapter sethelping to establish for players new to TCGs the idea that cards can be mixed in decks as long as only two types of ink are used. The Amethyst and Steel ink combination in this case provides not only a lot of humor and good strategy between the Merlin and Madam Mim cards, but the overall feel of the deck is good for having a lot of low-cost cards in play at all times.

Rise of the Floodborn Set

Again, the Rise of the Floodborn The Amber and Sapphire Deck combines cards from this set and The first chapter. Amber paint features all of the Seven Dwarfs characters in Rise of the Floodbornand when combined with the Sapphire ink cards with many items, This deck becomes a very strategy-heavy deck. With the cohesion that Seven Dwarves offers between each other and the various item buffs, it can be a challenging deck to master, but very effective.

Inklands Set

Disney Lorcana: In the Inklands added location cards to the game, which received both positive and negative feedback from players, but ended up adding another level of strategy that could be employed. To get this new game mechanic off to a slower start, only two locations were added for each starting deck, one for each color. This amber and emerald starter deck focused heavily on Dalmatian puppieswhich also included a new way to play, allowing a player to have up to 99 copies of the tail cards in a single deck – although the starting deck didn’t do this, thankfully.

Inklands Set

The combined Ruby and Sapphire starting deck for In the red lands includes many members of the family duck family, including Scrooge McDuck and his nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Although there are many cards related to Moana characters too, many players began to nickname it the Scrooge deck. Webby Vanderquack, Della Duck and Gyro Gearloose also appear here.

Ursula’s Return Set

Amber and Amethyst was a combination that was already seen as a starting deck in The first chapterbut bring it back to Ursula’s return it has a totally different flavor. This deck is called the “Madrigal Magic” deckand for good reason. Most of the characters in this starter deck are members of Disney’s Madrigal family. Charm. Even the location card is Casa Madrigal. Even if a player is not a fan of CharmThis deck features wonderful combinations of mechanics that harmonize with each other and help players learn how to use different cards strategically.

Ursula’s Return Set

The Sapphire and Steel combination was also seen in Disney Lorcana: the first chapterand once again proves to be a strong combination. The strength of Steel ink cards can be an aggressive approachand this choice of Sapphire inked cards focuses on a strong showing of Princesses who can also stand out. While Sapphire is typically known for being a more item-heavy strategic paint, this deck combo has a good amount of strength from both colors.

Set of sparkling skies

The fifth set for Disney Lorcana follows the usual pattern by introducing two more starting decks, starting with Amethyst and Ruby Sparkling skies deck. However, this is the first starter deck made up entirely of cards from just the new set. This gorgeous deck leans heavily towards candy racers. Wreck-It Ralphincluding headliner Vanellope von Schweetz on the Ruby side. Meanwhile, Amethyst cards feature characters from Frozen 2.

Set of sparkling skies

The combination of Emerald and Steel paints is not often seenbut this Sparkling skies The starting deck demonstrates how tactics can synergize well. The large number of hyenas in The Lion King makes this deck cruel to opponents, and the new Tug of War action card is a wonderful addition to help players who are facing Evasion-heavy decks without making it a useless card for non-Evasives. Combined with the beautiful artwork of the Sparkling skies defined, this starter deck is a good addition to a collection and is well balanced.

Azurite Sea Set

Surprisingly, this is the first time that Amber and Ruby paints have been brought together for a starter deck, although Amber is a generally versatile paint that works well with all types of decks. Combined with Ruby, this deck has a more offensive feeling and is thematically filled with pirates. Of Winnie the Pooh characters for Treasure Planetpirates are strong when using this deck. As stated in Screen Rant’s initial deck analysis, “Moana – Kakamora Leader” is a standout card for the deck with the ability to move characters to a location and gain knowledge for each movement.

Sapphire Ink is known for having a lot of items, and this Emerald and Sapphire combo starter deck leans into that with an Inventors theme across all card options. These cards may require a little more planning to be most effective, but they can create some incredible strategies to disrupt opponents quickly. With so many Inventor cards included, the “Hiro Hamada – Team Leader” card will be a must-have with its ability to give +1 Resistance to all Inventors if Hiro is in play.

By releasing starter decks as each new set is released, even longtime players are introduced to new strategies they may not have previously thought of. It’s interesting to see this Sparkling skies starting decks have no cards from previous sets, but then Azurite Sea has a mix of only sets 5 and 6. Of course, players can still mix and match cards from all sets, as long as a deck has no more than two paints represented. Any of these starter decks are an easy way to start playing Disney Lorcanaand are key items in each joint release.
