2024 marks the Year of the Dragonand McDonald’s decided to celebrate this with their latest line of holiday cards. Pokémon TCG. The Newest Additions to McDonald’s Pokémon TCG line will be released in France on December 4, 2024 in France. Fans will have until January 21st to collect all 15 cards. Although all cards will be reprinted, they will have new McDonald’s numbers. Six of the 15 cards will be holographic and printed on McDonald’s signature confetti holofoil.

The cards will feature a good number of fan favorites Pokémon. Most will be Dragon types Pokémonbut there are some exceptions. Each pack will contain four cards each: three non-holographic and one holographic. THE Pokémon Presented this year include:

Some of the highlights Pokémon are from the original series and games: Charizard, Dragonite, Eevee and Eevee evolution, second generation Umbreon, Jigglypuff and Pikachu, while others are from more recent generations. When will Happy Meals Pokémon cards arrive in the US?

No confirmed US release, but fans are optimistic

This has not been confirmed when the new Pokémon cards will arrive at McDonald’s in the USAbut fans are optimistic that it will happen soon. Typically, France lags behind the US in terms of Happy Meal promotions, but that’s obviously not the case this year. Let’s hope McDonald’s USA sees its Pokémon cards released in December, but may be delayed until January. The January release would coincide with Chinese New Year, so it would make sense for them to postpone it.

Since Pokémon cards have arrived at McDonald’s in the US, fans can expect to see cards that are the same or similar to the French version.
