Even Superman admits that the shock hero is Batman’s equal as a fighter

Batman is one of the most skilled fighters and planners in the DC Universe, but Superman knows Harley Quinn Is absolutely Bruce Wayne’s equal. There are very few characters that could possibly match the skills that Batman has spent his entire life on, which is why the comparison is so surprising.

During the events of Heroes in crisis By Tom King and Clay Mann, there is a brutal massacre at Sanctuary, a place where heroes are able to go for therapy and emotional support. The only two survivors of the massacre, Buster Gold and Harley Quinn, blame the other for causing it. This leads the Trinity to try to solve who is responsible, and they end up seeing Harley Quinn’s full potential.


Superman states Harley Quinn is as good as Batman

Cornered by Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman, it appears that Harley Quinn will be taken into custody for questioning. Instead, she manages to steal Wonder Woman’s lasso, overpower Batman, and defeat Superman with Kryptonite. in Heroes in crisis #2, this unbelievable feat leads to Superman names Harley Quinn as the one Gotham villain who is just as good as Batman.

Harley Quinn takes Batman hostage

Even readers often forget that Harley Quinn is an incredibly skilled and highly trained psychologist. She easily reads people and notices their habits, a skill that not many people in the DCU actually have. Although it may seem absurd that Harley could take on the Trinity and win, she’s just anticipating their behavior. Harley knows that Wonder Woman will be the first to try and listen to her before resorting to violence, and she uses this knowledge to steal Wonder Woman’s lasso. Then, she knows that Batman will be the first to fight and, because of his paranoia, he would have Kryptonite for Superman.

Since the conclusion of Heroes in crisisHarley Quinn took on a more “true” heroic role in the DC Universe. The Trinity battle is not the first time that Harley used her powers of observation and knowledge of how people’s minds work to defeat a superior opponent. in 2001 Harley Quinn #10 by Karl Kesel, Terry Dodson, Rachel Dodson, Alex Sinclair and Ken Lopez She manages to get the upper hand on Cassandra Cain, the best fighter in the Bat-Family, by exploiting basic psychology. After Robin mistakenly calls Harley Quinn by the name “Cassandra” while she is dressed as Batgirl, Harley then uses this knowledge by calling Cass using her real name. With Cas surprised and wrong-footed, Harley is able to push her off a rooftop.

Knowing how people will react before they do is truly powerful. Although Harley Quinn has no permanent superhuman abilities, she is an expert at knowing exactly what people will do and being able to get into their minds. She flawlessly predicted how Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman would react Heroes in crisisThat allowed you to counter their movements perfectly. As strange as it may sound at first, Superman knows that the only Gotham City villain who can match Batman Is Harley Quinn.
