Elizabeth Olsen is officially set to return to the MCU in 2025

Marvel Studios confirms Elizabeth Olsen will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2025 as part of the cast of an upcoming project. Olsen last appeared in the MCU in 2022, playing Scarlet Witch in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Today, Marvel Studios parent company Disney revealed new information about a slew of 2025 projects, including official cast lists and release dates. Elizabeth Olsen is listed as part of the cast of Marvel Zombiesconfirming her return as Zombie Scarlet Witch. The character first appeared in And if…? season 1, episode 5, “What If…Zombies?!” Additionally, Disney confirmed Marvel Zombies will premiere on Friday, October 3, 2025, and has revealed a new image of Zombie Thanos.
