Star Wars RebelsGhost Crew has been an integral force in the Rebellion's struggle against the Empire, but how threatening are each of its members individually? The Ghost Crew could be Star Wars The most charming ragtag group of heroes yet; Each character—Hera Syndulla, Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios, Sabine Wren, Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, and yes, even their droid, Chopper—came from a troubled, traumatic, or violent past. Hera, the leader of the Ghost Crew, gave them all a renewed sense of purpose, a new family, and perhaps most importantly, something to fight for.
Of course, each team member brought their own useful skills to the table. As Jedi, Kanan and Ezra are invaluable to the group and the Rebellion at large. Sabine was a masterful engineer, Zab was an excellent bodyguard, Hera was an exceptional pilot, and Chopper was an excellent and clever mechanic. They fit together beautifully as a team, but as with any team, some members are bound to be more threatening and powerful than others.

Garazb "Zeb" Orrelios
Specter 4: The Muscle
Zeb Orrelios, code name Specter 4, is a skilled warrior and protector. As one of the few remaining Lasat, Zab's anger at his people's genocide - especially against the Imperial agent Kallus - fueled his lust for fighting and strengthened his determination to help the Rebellion and the communities affected by the Empire's dictatorial rule. He wields a bo-gun, a powerful weapon that can be used as a staff and blaster gun, which he was given when he became a captain of the Lasat Honor Guard.
Zeb's fighting skills, combined with his brute strength - he was great at defeating storm troopers when the need arose - made Zeb an undeniably important part of the Ghost Crew. however, Since the majority of Zab's skills are most useful when the whole team is on a mission, he is, in general, the least threatening member of the Ghost Crew. If you need someone to back you up in a fist fight, however, Zeb is undoubtedly the one you should call.

Hera Syndulla
Specter 2: Leader and Pilot
Hera Syndulla, code name Specter 2, is the leader of the Ghost Crew and one of the most skilled pilots the galaxy has ever seen. Perhaps she was even the most skilled pilot of all. Hera can fly these Ghost - and no other ship, really - with precision, creativity and passion. She was driven by instinct, but she was also a skilled strategist. Grand Admiral Thrawn, the Empire's most feared and revered tactician, even admired her for her skills in the cockpit and as a Rebel leader. It's no surprise that Hera was eventually promoted to become a general of the Rebel Alliance.
However, Hera's skills lie in leadership, strategy and protecting her crew and her ship. She is not a warrior like Zeb, Kanan, Sabine or Ezra, although she is ruthless enough when the situation calls for it. She may have been a major thorn in the Empire's side as a leader of the Rebel Alliance, however, Without her crew to support her, there wasn't much Hera could reasonably have done against the might of the Imperial War Machine.

C1-10P aka "Chopper"
Specter 3: Mechanic
C1-10P, lovingly known as Chopper or Specter 3, has committed countless war crimes. Yes, indeed – this little orange-domed astromech is a serious killing machine, with approximately 4,500 Imperial deaths to its name (and counting). For example, in Star Wars Rebels Season 2, Episode 9, "Stealth Strike," Chopper single-handedly sabotages the gravity well of an Imperial Interdictor, causing it, and two nearby light cruisers, to crash into one another and implode.
Chopper is deviously and gleefully violent, but he is also fiercely loyal to Hera Syndulla and the rest of the Ghost Crew. While his kill count is undeniably (and quite harrowingly) impressive, Chopper is, unfortunately, limited by being in the right place at the right time. Additionally, while destroying Imperial ships and killing Imperial officers hurt the Empire, that hurt is often only temporary. There are always new people to recruit and new ships to build. Chopper's exploits, although impressive, did not have a lasting effect. Chopper's back in the game in the New Republic era, though, so anything could happen next.

Sabine Ren
Specter 5: Weapons and Explosives Expert
Sabine Wren, aka Specter 5, is a threat to the Empire (and the Ghost Crew's other enemies) on multiple levels. First, she is a weapons expert and grade A engineer. In other words, if you need explosives, you call Sabine Wren. Although she originally created some of her deadliest inventions for the Empire, she eventually turned on them and turned her designs on them as well. in Star Wars Rebels Season 4, Episode 2, "Heroes of Mandalore (2)," for example, she reprograms one of her old weapons to use against the Empire rather than the Mandalorians.
Her Mandalorian heritage is also an important part of why Sabine is such a threat to the Empire. After claiming the legendary Darksaber, Sabine manages to reunite her family and turn her Mandalorian clan, which, until that point, was loyal (under duress) to the Empire, against them. The Mandalorians and their resources were a massive asset to the Empire - losing their "loyalty" was a striking blow.
Finally, and more recently, Sabine has unlocked her potential as a Force-user. She still has a lot to learn, and her mentor, Ahsoka Tano, is likely to give her a crash course now that they're both stuck in another Star Wars Galaxy. But a Jedi of any skill level is always a threat to the Empire, and in this case, the Imperial Remnant. How strong will Sabin become? We will have to wait and see.

Cannon Jarrus
Specter 1: Co-Leader and Jedi Knight
As a Jedi, Kanan Jarrus - formerly Caleb Dume, also known as Specter 1 - was a massive threat to the Empire, and more importantly, Emperor Palpatine. Where there's a Jedi, there's hope, and Kanan has excelled in providing hope to those in desperate need of it.. Of course, Kanan also trained another new Jedi, his young Padawan, Ezra Bridger. Before he met Kanan, Ezra was stuck living on the streets of Luthal, with no idea of what he was capable of. Kanan changed the fate of the Empire by mentoring Ezra, although at the time, no Jedi could imagine what they would accomplish together.
Mentoring Ezra isn't Kanan's only slight against the Empire, however. He was a truly powerful Jedi in his own right, despite never having completed his training with the Jedi Order. in Star Wars Rebels Season 1, he defeated the Grand Inquisitor, Darth Vader's highest-ranking Jedi Hunter. Kanan also lost his eyesight after a fateful duel with Maul (formerly Darth) in the Star Wars Rebels season 2 finale, but his connection with the Force grew stronger as a result.
You can read more about Kanan's life before and after Order 66 in the comic series Star Wars: Conan From Greg Weisman and the novel Star Wars: A New Dawn by John Jackson Miller.
It was the strong connection to the Force that allowed him to do what needed to be done in Star Wars Rebels Season 4, Episode 10, "JD Night." Kanan used all of his considerable strength to save Hera, Sabine, and Ezra from an Imperial fuel tank explosion, regaining his eyesight but sacrificing himself in the process. Little did he or the Empire know that Kanan's celllessness would be the beginning of the end for the Empire's operations on Lothal and the Empire's rule in general.

Ezra Bridger
Specter 6: Jedi Padawan
It could be argued that the placement of Kanan and Ezra on the list are interchangeable. They were both formidable Jedi, after all, hard to find and even harder to kill. however, Ezra's story begins, of course, first. Despite everything he has already done to harm the empire and all the struggles he has had along the way, it is unlikely that Ezra has reached his full potential. There is still so much more to come from him. Hopefully, we will see what role Ezra still has to play in the fight against the Imperial remnants Ahsoka Season 2 (and perhaps The Mandalorian & Grogutoo).
Although it took Ezra a while to come into his own as a Jedi, his power truly began to shine through Star Wars Rebels Season 3. He has become a skilled tactician, wielding a lightsaber with incredible dexterity and ease, and his connection with the creatures around him - particularly the Loth Wolves and the Purgil, Star Wars Hyperspace-through space whales - which is already extraordinary, became even more so. He also overcame the trials of the dark side and Maul's persuasive nature. It seemed that there was nothing that Ezra could not do. And yet he had one last lesson to learn.
When Canaan sacrificed himself, everything changed for Ezra. When he accessed the world between worlds (a dimension connecting all space and time) and saved Ahsoka Tano's life - another blow to what would become the Imperial Remnant - Ezra learned the most important lesson of all: the art of letting go. He lets go of his chance to save his master's life in the world between worlds, destroying Emperor Palpatine's chances of accessing it in the process. He also gave up an opportunity to be reunited with his parents, whom he lost when he was just a young boy, all in the name of of the rebellion.
Most importantly of all, he sacrifices his future with his Ghost Crew family to exile himself and Grand Admiral Thrawn to parts unknown, freeing Lothal and crumbling the Empire's power structure in the process. Palpatine believed that Thrawn was one of the few Imperials cunning enough to defeat the Rebel Alliance once and for all. His disappearance was the beginning of the end. Ezra has damaged the empire again and again.

Of course, there's one last member of the Ghost Crew to consider - Specter 7, aka Jacen Syndulla. Jacen is Hera and Kanan's son, born after Kanan's death. However, while there are enough hints in both these Star Wars Rebels Epilogue and Ahsoka To suggest that Jacen is Force-sensitive, it is currently impossible to tell how much of a threat he will pose to the Imperial Remnant or even the First Order. However, if he is as strong and selfless as his father, and if he is trained by Ezra (or even Luke Skywalker), there is no telling what Jacen can accomplish in the not-so-distant future.
All in all, the Ghost Crew was and still is an important team in Star Wars Canon. They were integral to the Rebel Alliance and the destruction of the Empire, and most team members - sadly, sans Kanan - will continue to fight the Empire's lasting oppression during Star Wars' New Republic era. Hopefully, we'll see Star Wars RebelsHeroes again soon.
