Dragon Ball Daima wasted little time establishing its main villain: the Demon Realm’s newest king, Gomah. And although the mysterious magic user saw little screen time beyond his introduction, the series hinted at his immense power. Gloryone of DaimaThe film’s newest main characters sought help from Goku and Supreme Kai, hoping to track down Gomah. However, each passing episode has shown glimpses that there is There may be more to the party’s newest member than it seems.
At the moment, Goku and Supreme Kai are linked to Glorio, as his knowledge of the newly introduced Demon Realm is invaluable to the group. He has now led the duo to the Third Demon World, closer to his goal of rescuing Dende and wishing the Dragon Balls back to normal. But there was moments of tension between Supreme Kai and the mysterious resident of the Demon Realminsinuating some secret intention that Glório keeps hidden from his new acquaintances.
Glorio has been helpful but remains mysterious
Goku and Supreme Kai must remain cautious of Glorio
Glorio is first seen stealthily spying on Gomah in the shadows of the First Demon World’s castle, before flying to Earth and revealing that he has been tasked with defeating the Demon Realm’s newest ruler. Enlisting the help of Goku and Supreme Kai, the three travel together to the Demon Realm in pursuit of their interconnected goals. However, in their first interaction, Supreme Kai expresses some distrust towards Glorio and his motivestaking a break before volunteering to tag along on the journey.
Although it appears that Glorio’s intention to defeat Gomah is noble and just, his motivations for doing so remain unclearas the native of the Demon Realm only offered to have the ruler of the Third Demon World request his help. The truth behind that statement remains to be seen, as Supreme Kai has pointed out that he wouldn’t know the heroes were turned into children if that were the case. Although Glory has been helpful to his new compatriots thus far, they still can’t afford to take their eyes off him.
Even though Glorio is secretly evil, Goku’s influence is hard to ignore
Goku is known for turning his enemies into allies
Supreme Kai once again paused and demonstrated his hesitation in trusting Glorio during Daimafourth episode. Goku, foaming at the chance to fight the mysterious Tamigami, suggests that the crew go directly after the Dragon Balls, whereupon Supreme Kai reminds him that Dende is currently in danger, and his rescue remains his top priority. Glory, on the other hand, is very quick to agree to Goku’s proposalsuggesting, without specifying, that he also wants a shot at the Dragon Balls for unknown reasons.
If Glory does indeed have secret, evil motives, it’s important to remember who he is currently with. Goku has a history of turning his enemies into alliesand the two have shared several healthy interactions. Until his true motives for defeating Gomah are revealed, it remains to be seen whether Glory is good or evil. Upcoming episodes of Dragon Ball Daima promises to expand on Goku’s newest adventure and will certainly shed more light on Glorio’s character as the story progresses.
